1 ETH or 10 ETH: the spec that changes 20 lots
Normalized here: 1 ETH per lot at $1.00 per $1.00. Then 20.00 lots at a $50 stop is $1,000. If the broker uses 10 ETH per lot, 2.00 lots is the same dollars and 20.00 lots is a 10× blow-up. Read the specification twice. Spread 1.2 to 3.0 points. ATR $85 to $190. Handles 2500, 2600, 2700 ($50 / $100).
Peak liquidity is London-NY 12:00 to 20:00 UTC, overlapping BTC ETF hours. 24/7 still applies. Weekend ETH can underperform then catch up in a $80 candle that a $50 stop does not contain.
The 15 to 45 minute BTC lag
BTC breaks a $1,000 handle. ETH sits. Traders short ETH "because it failed." 20 to 40 minutes later ETH expands through a H1 FVG and those shorts are the liquidity. The lot formula does not care about that story, but your stop does: $35 to $65 intraday, not $15, when BTC already ran.
connect your MT5 account to Venasri and treat BTC direction as a filter, not as an auto-copy at full 20 ETH units. If BTC is already 0.55 lots, ETH is a residual 8 units or skip.
20.00 units at $50, half that on an evaluation
On $1/point per ETH: lots = 1000 / 50 = 20.00 at 1%, 10.00 at 0.50%. Scalp $15 to $28, intraday $35 to $65, swing $95 to $170. Put the true tick ($1 or $10) in the Half-Kelly Lot Size Calculator & Equity Guard.
Correlation with BTC is about 0.89. SOL is higher beta still. One crypto budget. US macro still dumps ETH in NY hours via BTC. Weekend thin books turn 1.2 to 3.0 point spreads into 6 to 10.
Trade the catch-up after BTC, in overlap hours, with a $50-class stop
Wait for BTC to break. Enter ETH FVG continuation in 12:00 to 20:00 UTC at $50 handles, 10 units, $35 to $65 stop. Do not fade the lag. Flatten or 4 units on weekends if allowed.
