€1 or $1.08 per point, not $1 by assumption
Many GER40/DE40 CFDs are €1 per point, about $1.08. Some brokers use $1. The 16.83 lot 1% figure uses $1.08 and a 55-point stop: 1000 / (55 × 1.08) = 16.84. If your spec is $1, lots rise to 18.18 at the same stop. Read it. Do not paste NAS100 14.28 lots here.
Spread 0.8 to 1.6 points. ATR 180 to 310 points. Handles 19000, 19250, 19500. Frankfurt Xetra 07:00 to 10:30 UTC is the home book. US overlap 13:30 to 15:30 UTC is a second, NAS-correlated push.
07:00 UTC gap sweep, ZEW/IFO, ECB
Xetra cash open regularly gaps and sweeps the overnight range in the first 15 to 30 minutes. That is DAX's version of 9:30 AM ET. German ZEW/IFO and ECB are the local red folders. US CPI still hits in the overlap and can reverse a finished European trend.
connect your MT5 account to Venasri and wait for the 07:00 to 07:30 UTC sweep before 55-point structure trades. The 22 to 38 point scalp stop belongs after that sweep, not on the gap print.
16.83 lots at 55 points using 1.08
lots = 1000 / (stop × 1.08). At 55 points: 16.83 at 1%, 8.41 at 0.50%. Scalp 22 to 38 after 07:30 UTC, intraday 45 to 75, swing 120 to 210. Set 1.08 (or your spec) in the Half-Kelly Lot Size Calculator & Equity Guard.
If NAS100 will be your US session ticket, flatten or haircut GER40 before 13:25 UTC so you do not stack DAX leftover plus Nasdaq open. They correlate into US data even if the morning stories differed.
Trade 07:30 to 09:30 UTC, not the Xetra gap and not only Wall Street
Map overnight high/low. Let 07:00 UTC sweep. Take the 120-point European trend toward 100/250 handles by 09:30 UTC. Reduce into ECB. Do not wait for New York to start your DAX day.
Confirm sweep-complete, ZEW/IFO/ECB clear, and unused US-index budget on the Pre-Trade AI Confluence Checklist. GER40 is a Frankfurt index. NAS100 rules copied at 07:00 UTC without a sweep wait will still fail, just in euro timezone.
