Ten winners is the fantasy and sixteen trades is the plan
Each idea risks 0.50%, $500 on $100,000. A 1R winner pays about $500. Ten of them, undefeated, are the 5% target. The moment two of them lose, you need twelve winners to be back to a $5,000 net, which is why 10 to 16 trades is the honest window and not a dare to take sixteen losses. Sixteen full losses would be $8,000, past the $5,000 day and most of the way to the $10,000 stage hole.
The second 5% target, if you are on the two-stage path, is another $5,000 under the same unit. Start on Venasri and write the target you actually owe. Hunting a second $5,000 that your path does not require is how the day gets spent after the account had already done its job.
Twenty days means the target is $250 a session if you are smooth
The minimum is 20 trading days. Divided evenly, a $5,000 target is $250 a day, half of one winner. You do not need a hero session, and a hero session that risks $2,000 to "bank the week" can drop the Edge Score under the stage minimum even if it wins. The score runs from 50 toward 90 or higher. A freeze lasts a month and skips the settlement on the 1st.
Daily loss resets at 00:00 server time on live equity. You can stop at one trade. The program does not demand that you use the $5,000. It demands that you do not. Bot controls should cap the session at two full losses, $1,000, which is 20% of the day and still leaves a professional afternoon for tomorrow.
The shortcuts that fail this program are size and the clock
There is no news blackout to exploit and no news blackout to violate. A CPI trade is allowed and fully counted. Weekend holding is allowed and the gap is fully counted. Expert Advisors are allowed on MT4 and MT5. None of those permissions shorten the 20 days. An EA that fires 16 trades on Monday at $500 risk can finish the profit target and still have 19 days of score-building left, during which one oversized loser undoes the story.
The first 10% hit, $10,000 on this stage, pauses the allocation for 2 weeks. Passing traders treat that pause as a failure even though the account can return. Two bad days at the official line are the hole. The working band of 0.35% to 0.65% keeps a single idea from being able to do that alone. The 0.50% unit sits in the middle of the band on purpose.
Lock the flatten at $4,250 and leave the last $750 alone
Equity Guard at 4.25% is $4,250. The remaining $750 before $5,000 is for spread and for the fill you do not control, especially on gold at $10 per 0.10 move. If you are down $4,000, the next $500 idea is the one that turns a recoverable day into the firm's day. Flatten and wait for 00:00.
Profit on your own deposit stays at 100%, and multiplier profit pays up to 90% on the 1st. The pass is the stretch of days that makes that sentence true. It is not a single multiple of the $5,000 line. When the balance steps up, rebuild the $500 unit as 0.50% of the new stage before the next ticket.
