Live liquidity means the print is tradable and payable
You may hold, enter, and exit through the release. The program does not publish a red-folder ban. That is a feature of a brokerage allocation, and it is also why the loss is real. The daily line is 5% of the stage, reset at 00:00 server time, and it is marked on live equity. A wick that tags a stop 40 pips beyond the plan is not reviewed later as "news, so it does not count." It counts.
On 1.00 lot of gold, $10 per 0.10 move, a 40-pip slip beyond a planned stop is about $400. On 3.00 lots it is about $1,200, the figure that eats a quarter of a $5,000 day in one ticket. Open a Venasri account and decide the maximum lot before the calendar, not while the candle is printing.
CPI, NFP, and FOMC are the same rule as a quiet Tuesday
The dangerous releases are the ones that move gold and the US indices in a single minute: CPI, nonfarm payrolls, and the FOMC rate decision. Axi does not give them a special status. Your Edge Score might. A wild win that required three times your normal lot can look profitable and still pull the score under the stage minimum, which freezes multiplier progression for a month.
The 10% stage maximum, $10,000 on $100,000, pauses the allocation for 2 weeks on the first hit. A news trade that gaps through both the daily line and the stage hole does not get a "it was the print" exemption. Bot controls that are allowed to trade the release should still refuse a size that cannot survive a doubled stop.
Cut the lot until a doubled stop fits under 0.65%
A working band is 0.35% to 0.65% per idea, $350 to $650 on $100,000, assuming the stop fills where you placed it. Through a release, assume it does not. If you want the slipped version to stay near $650, the planned version has to be closer to $325, the bottom of that band. Seven clean stops at $350 are $2,450. Seven slipped stops at twice that are the whole day.
NAS100 and US30 are worse than FX at 13:30 UTC, the 9:30 New York cash open, which often lands near a data print. Waiting for that first candle to finish is a timing rule. It does not replace a smaller size. Weekend holds are permitted, so a Friday news position can become a Sunday gap plus a Monday data release, two debits in one idea.
Flatten at $4,250 before the release, not after the slip
Equity Guard at 4.25% is $4,250 on $100,000. If you are already down $3,000 on the session, the guard should be flat before CPI, because a $1,200 slip on top of $3,000 is $4,200 and the next tick is the official $5,000. Going into the print with a full day of room is a choice. Going in with $800 of room is a coin flip the firm will settle in cash.
Expert Advisors are fully allowed, which means a news robot is legal and still fully accountable. Put the equity flatten outside the robot so a stuck order cannot negotiate with the $5,000 line. Settlement of multiplier profit happens on the 1st. A breach in the minute of a release can erase the month you were about to invoice.
