Name the five leaks before they feel like skill
The first leak is three or more fresh trades inside five minutes of a loss. The second is dragging the stop farther away so the ticket "has room." The third is editing the order again inside 60 seconds, usually the stop and the lot in one burst. The fourth is averaging down, adding to a position that is already wrong. The fifth is a size more than twice the planned unit, the click that turns $500 into $1,200 because the last one hurt.
Any one of them can be the trade that drops the Edge Score under the stage minimum. The freeze is a month, longer than the 2-week pause that follows a first 10% hole. Open a Venasri account and write the five leaks on the risk card so they are rules, not moods.
A five-minute cluster at the top of the band
The sane band is $350 to $650 on $100,000. Three revenge tickets at $650 are $1,950. Add a widened stop that turns the next one into $900, and add a double-size attempt at $1,300, and you are at $4,150 without a new market view. That is 4.15% of the stage. One more edit and the $5,000 day is a formality. The reset at 00:00 will not save a cluster that happened at 14:00.
Averaging down on gold is the usual vehicle. At $10 per 0.10 move, adding 1.00 lot to a 1.00 lot loser doubles the pip cost to $20. A further 30 pips is $600 more, on top of the original damage. Bot controls should block a second entry within five minutes of a stop-out and should block any lot above two times the saved unit.
You can lose the month without losing the day
A single $1,800 loser is inside the $5,000 line and can still be the score event. The Edge Score looks at risk and consistency, from 50 at the early stages toward 90 or higher. Traders tell themselves the day survived, so the behavior was acceptable. The multiplier then fails to step up on the 1st, which is the payout date for up to 90% of multiplier profit.
News does not save you. There is no blackout, so a revenge entry during CPI is legal and fully marked on live equity. Weekend holding does not save you either. Carrying the oversized leftover so you do not "realize" it just hands Sunday the gap. Expert Advisors will repeat a revenge rule forever if you code the double-lot as a recovery feature. Take that feature out.
Flatten at $4,250 and lock the platform for the session
Equity Guard at $4,250, 4.25% of $100,000, is the cash backstop. Tilt usually arrives earlier, around the second loss. A practical session cap is two full units, $1,000 if you risk $500, after which new orders are refused until the next server day. That cap will feel insulting the first time it saves you, and that is the point.
The 10% stage hole is $10,000 and it pauses allocation for 2 weeks. Revenge sequences are how traders travel from a $1,000 problem to that hole in under an hour. The guard should cancel working orders, not only close the open ticket, because the third leak is often a pending order placed 40 seconds after the second. End the session. The 20-day count can spare one quiet afternoon.
