Do the seventh stop on paper before you pick 0.65%
The 2-step daily line on $100,000 is $4,000. Seven losses at 0.35% are 2.45%, or $2,450, which approaches the line and does not print it. Seven losses at 0.50% are $3,500, still $500 inside, with nothing left for spread. Seven losses at 0.65% are $4,550, which is a breach on the sixth or seventh ticket. If your process can actually produce seven losers in a session, you do not get to live at the top of the band. You live at 0.35% to 0.50%.
The 1-step day is 3%, or $3,000. Seven times $350 is still inside it. Seven times $500 is $3,500 and is not. The band was drawn against the 4% product. Importing it unchanged onto the 3% product is how a careful trader fails a shorter evaluation. Open a Venasri account and store the two products as two ceilings.
Translate the dollars into Bitcoin lots, not into a feeling
Where 1.00 BTC lot is $1 per $1 of price, a $500 risk and a $900 stop is about 0.56 lots. A $350 risk on that same stop is about 0.39 lots. A $650 risk is about 0.72 lots. The intraday stop band on Bitcoin often sits between $600 and $1,100. Use the stop you will actually honor. A $600 stop at 0.83 lots is also $500, and it is a different position from 0.56 lots at $900. The cash is the rule. The lot is the output.
A weekend range of several thousand dollars makes the tight stop a lie if you are not there to obey it. 1.00 lot through a $4,000 range is the entire 2-step day. Bot controls should refuse a lot whose cash risk at the placed stop sits above the percent you selected, and should refuse a second correlated crypto add that pushes the sum over the band.
Daily room and lifetime room are different budgets
Seven small losses protect the day. They do not, by themselves, describe the static 8% maximum, which is $8,000 on $100,000. You can respect 0.50% all week and still walk into the lifetime floor if the week is one direction and you never stop. The 1-step problem is sharper: the 6% trail can rise while your per-trade risk stays polite, so the lifetime room shrinks under you. Lot size does not see that unless you recompute room after new highs.
There is no best-day cap pushing you to trade more. There is also no minimum day forcing you to trade. If the band says you are out of daily room after four losses, stop. The USDC payout is not improved by a fifth loss that proves you were active. Flat is a position on a 24/7 book.
Let the guard fire while the band still has a ticket left
Equity Guard at 3.25%, about $3,250 on a $100,000 2-step account, fires after roughly six $500 losses and before the seventh. That is the point. The seventh loser should be a theoretical number, not a fill. On 1-step, a guard near $2,250 fires earlier because the official day is only $3,000. Do not set the guard at $4,000 and call it discipline. That is the firm doing your risk management by deleting the account.
Recompute the band when the balance changes. 0.50% of $110,000 is $550, not $500. A static lot carried into a larger account is accidentally conservative. A static lot carried into a drawn-down account is accidentally aggressive. The percent is the plan. The lot from last Monday is a souvenir.
