Protection has to live on the Breakout book
Orders, stops, and equity for this firm live on Breakout Terminal and the TradingView integration. If you analyze on MT5, treat that terminal as a chart unless the connection is actually sending orders and reading equity back. Manual Trade Guard is the layer that, after you click, attaches the stop you promised yourself, moves it to breakeven when the first target pays, and scales out across TP1, TP2, TP3, and TP4. The click can be human. The forgetfulness cannot.
A naked fill on a 24/7 crypto book is not a style. It is an unwatched $4,000 day waiting for Saturday. Create a Venasri login and confirm a test order shows a stop on the Breakout side, not only on your chart. If you cannot see the stop on the venue that can gap, you do not have a stop.
Four partials are enough, and a tick trail is too many
TP1 through TP4 is four exits plus the stop work. That is a small, countable set of actions. It takes risk off as the trade pays and it leaves a runner without requiring you to sit the candle. What it is not is a trail that rewrites every tick. The exchange API rate limit will punish the trail and leave the partials unsent. Step changes, then wait. The 4% line does not award style points for activity.
Breakeven after TP1 is the difference between a winner that gives back into a full stop and a winner that at least stops costing the day. On a $500 planned risk, giving the entire $500 back after price already paid TP1 is how a pass plan stalls. Bot controls should own that shift so you are not dragging the stop by hand while the next candle prints.
The guard reads equity, not the chart you like
Daily loss is 4% of day-start balance at 00:00 UTC on the 2-step book, $4,000 on $100,000. The 1-step book is 3%. Equity Guard has to poll the equity figure those tests use. A local MT5 simulator that is not the Breakout account will flatten a fictional position and leave the real one open. This is the setup mistake. Pretty charts, wrong equity.
Include the weekend in the test. Flatten once on a small position when you are awake, at a threshold you chose, and confirm the venue is flat. Then leave the real threshold at about $3,250 for 2-step or $2,250 for 1-step. A guard you have never seen fire is a rumor. Crypto will test it at a worse hour than you would have picked.
Manual entry does not cancel the lot plan
Clicking by hand does not make 1.00 BTC lot safer than a bot would have. If $1 of price is $1 a lot, a $4,000 weekend range is the whole 2-step day. The guard and the partials assume you entered at 0.35% to 0.65%. They are not a pardon for a 2% click. Put the cash risk on the ticket before the click, then let Manual Trade Guard attach the exit structure you are too slow to type.
News remains allowed. The setup should not auto-ban CPI unless you want that as a personal rule. It should refuse to leave the position naked into the print. A stop, a breakeven plan, and a daily flatten are compatible with a firm that has no blackout. They are how you use the permission without donating the $499 fee to a single headline.
