The cash open is a whip, then a trade
The 13:30 UTC candle is the New York cash open. Trading NAS100 or US30 while it is still printing is how a 60 point plan becomes a 100 point accident. Let it settle, then place the structural stop behind what it actually did. The static 10% floor at $90,000 will not be the line that candle is aiming at. The $5,000 day will.
1-Step and 2-Step share that 5% day and that static 10% maximum. Skipping a phase does not buy a wider open. Phase 1 of the 2-Step still wants $8,000 across five minimum trading days, with no best-day cap. One open-drive winner can be large. It does not delete the other four days.
Points are not the firm's unit
Cash risk is points times point value times lot. BrightFunded does not publish that point value. If 100 points at your lot already exceed the 0.35% to 0.65% band, $350 to $650 on $100,000, the lot is too big even though the point count matches the rule. A half-percent ticket is $500. Ten of those equal the day.
You can open a Venasri account and write the index profile in dollars. A 60 point stop and a 100 point stop are both legal structures. Only one of them may fit the cash you have left after the morning.
2,000 messages during a fast open
Index scalps fail the message cap when the stop is rewritten on every tick through 13:30 UTC. Place it once. Move it at breakeven and at partial targets. That is a risk manager, which is allowed. A tick trail is how you arrive at 2,000 with the $5,000 line still green. HFT and latency tools are banned outright, separate from the count.
Watch the count and the cash together on Equity Guard. The daily lock is 4.25%, $4,250 on $100,000. A funded five-minute news window is a different clock from 13:30 UTC. Do not treat the cash open as if it were the CPI blackout, and do not trade the blackout because the open felt fine in Phase 1.
Arm the bot after the candle, not during it
Personal EAs may scalp the index on MT5, cTrader, or DXtrade after the whip settles. They should not enter on the forming candle, and they should not stack a second index ticket that doubles the cash. Trade2Earn tokens on the close do not pay for a second NAS100 idea inside the same five minutes. That second idea is the tilt leak.
Bot Control should hold NAS100 and US30 until 13:30 UTC has settled, then allow one idea whose 60 to 100 point stop converts into cash under the band. Weekend holding is allowed. A Friday index scalp that accidentally becomes a Sunday gap still hits Monday's 5% day.
