You may hold, and the gap still counts
This is not a firm that forces a Friday flatten. Overnight and weekend holding are allowed on the published card. The cost is that a Sunday open gap is daily loss, not a special weekend bucket. If the gap on $100,000 reaches $5,000, the day is over even though you did not click. Wednesday triple-swap is a closed cost that counts the same way. It is smaller than a gap and it is still not free.
The 2-Step targets, 8% then 5%, assume you survive those charges. Five minimum trading days do not include a free pass for a weekend you chose to hold. Personal EAs may manage the swing. They may not ignore the 5% line while they do it.
Friday's float becomes Monday's reference
Because the day uses the higher of balance or equity at 00:00 CE(S)T, a winning swing held into a snapshot raises the next reference. A $2,000 open gold profit on a $100,000 balance makes $102,000 the higher figure. Five percent of that is $5,100. A Sunday gap that gives back the $2,000 and another $3,100 breaches the new day while the static floor at $90,000 is still far away. Those dollars are the arithmetic of a 5% hole. They are not a forecast of Sunday's gap.
You can sign up for Venasri and record whether the position is meant to see Sunday before you leave it on. The rule allows the hold. It does not insure the open.
Triple-swap Wednesday inside the same 5%
Wednesday triple-swap is not a separate allowance. It reduces the cash you have left under the 5% line. On a tight day that has already lost $4,000, a swap charge can be the print that finishes the last slice. The Equity Guard lock for this firm is 4.25%, $4,250 on $100,000, so the official $5,000 print is not the first time you react.
Set that lock on Equity Guard before Friday's close if the position will be held, and again before Wednesday's rollover if the open loss is already near the day. A static 10% floor will still be there after a swap. Your funded account might not.
What the bot should do with a hold
A swing bot on MT5, cTrader, or DXtrade can leave the trade on, because the firm allows it. It should still have a hard stop whose cash fits under the daily line, and it should not modify that stop through a funded red-folder window. The five-minute news restriction is a funded rule. A weekend hold does not suspend it on Monday morning. Message traffic still counts toward 2,000 a day if the bot fidgets with the stop all Friday.
Bot Control should tag weekend positions and refuse a second full-size add whose combined cash risk exceeds the $5,000 day. Trade2Earn tokens on the close are not a reason to reopen Sunday night just to farm another lot.
