Run the seventh stop before you live at 0.65%
The 2-step daily line is $5,000. The band says you want at least seven full stops before you approach it. At 0.35% you are nowhere near it after seven. At 0.50%, seven stops are $3,500 and you have $1,500 of day left, which is where a guard should already have considered flattening. At 0.65% you are $450 under the line and one slip finishes it. If your process really produces seven-loser sessions, you do not belong at the top of the band.
The 1-step day is 4%, or $4,000. Seven times $650 is $4,550, which does not fit. The band was drawn for the 5% product. Importing the top end onto 1-step is how a careful percent becomes a breach. Open a Venasri account and store 0.65% as a 2-step ceiling only. The 1-step ceiling needs to be lower.
The lot is the output of the stop, not the input
A $500 risk on a 20-pip FX stop is 2.50 lots at $10 per pip. The same cash on a 50-pip gold stop is 1.00 lot. A $650 risk pushes those to 3.25 FX lots or 1.30 gold lots. A $350 risk is 1.75 FX lots or 0.70 gold lots. Traders pick 1.00 gold because it is familiar and then widen the stop to 80 pips, which is $800 and outside the band. The familiar lot lied.
Every ticket still needs that stop on the platform inside 60 seconds. A perfectly sized idea without a stop is a rule fail before it is a math fail. Bot controls should send the stop with the entry and should reject the entry if the computed cash is above the percent you selected. Correlation counts. Long EURUSD and long gold can be one dollar bet.
Seven polite losses do not describe the 10% floor
The static maximum is $10,000 on $100,000. You can trade 0.50% perfectly and still walk into that floor across a bad fortnight. The band protects the day. It does not retire the lifetime line. On 1-step the lifetime line is a 6% smart trail, $6,000 at the start, and it can rise. Recompute remaining room after new highs or the band will feel fine while the trail is already tight.
Three days at 0.5% are $500 each. That is one 1R winner at the $500 unit, or a bit more than 1R at $350. You do not need the 0.65% end of the band to qualify a day. You need a closed profit of $500. Using the fat end of the band to manufacture the qualifying day faster is how the day stops qualifying and starts breaching.
Let the guard fire while one ticket of room remains
Equity Guard near $4,250 on a $100,000 2-step account fires before the seventh $650 loss and after a long string of $350 losses. That is correct. The official $5,000 print should be a number you read, not a number you touch. On 1-step, $4,250 is past the $4,000 day. Use about $3,250 there. The trail alert is extra. The daily guard will not see it.
When the balance changes, the band dollars change. 0.50% of $110,000 is $550. A lot frozen from last month is the wrong output. Rebuild it from the stop you will actually use tomorrow, then attach that stop inside the minute. The $509 fee is cheaper than discovering the band only after the seventh fill.
