Six stops or twelve, on the same $6,000
Experienced Trader and Master Instant trail a 6% maximum. On $100,000 that is $6,000 from the start. Risk $500, which is 0.50%, and the trail can absorb about twelve full stops. Scale the same idea to $1,000 and it absorbs about six. That is the breach that shows up after a green week, when the lot size goes up and the trail does not grow with the confidence.
Prestige is the other contract. Its maximum loss is a static 10%, $90,000 on $100,000, and it does not ratchet because you had a winning open. Create a Venasri profile with two cards, Prestige and Experienced, so a trailer screenshot is not applied to a static login.
What 00:00 actually resets
Daily loss is 4% on both the 1-step and 2-step figures, $4,000 on $100,000 at the start. It resets at 00:00 server time from the day-start balance and equity. A trade still open at that print belongs to the new day's 4% as soon as the reference updates. Close or reduce it before the clock if you do not want the new day to inherit the open result.
This reset is not a license to ignore the trail. A flat midnight can still leave Experienced or Master with a tighter 6% path than Prestige's $90,000 floor. Equity Guard on the $100,000 Experienced card belongs near $3,200 of daily loss and near $4,800 of distance to the trail, so both clocks have a buffer you chose.
The hard stop the tier already asked for
Where the program requires a hard stop, a naked position is a rule problem before it is a P&L problem. A gold wick through an unprotected 1.00 lot can print the $4,000 day in one move, because $1 of XAUUSD is about $100 on 1.00 lot. The 2,000-request daily cap does not save a position that never had a stop.
Bot Control should attach the stop at the fill and then stay quiet. News is permitted on evaluations, and funded tiers need their own window checked. Selected trailing programs also restrict weekend holds, so a Friday float on Master is not the same permission as a Friday float on Prestige.
A green closed day can still be the wrong product
There is no consistency rule on Prestige or Experienced evaluations, and there is no minimum day count. You can be up on the closed balance and still fail Experienced because the trail moved with the equity high and the giveback crossed it. The email looks like a winning account because the closed number is green. The trail is the number that ended it.
Before you add a second lot, write the remaining trail in dollars and divide by the stop. If the answer is under eight full stops, the scale-up is the breach. Prestige's static $10,000 hole on $100,000 is the product that does not shrink that count just because Tuesday was green.
