Evaluation permission is not a funded promise
The published line is: permitted on evaluations, and check the specific funded tier for its news window. That split is the whole rule. Traders who pass Prestige or Experienced on news trades, then run the same EA on day one of the funded account, are guessing. Write the funded window down when the password arrives. Until you have it, stand aside from the print.
Daily loss is 4%, $4,000 on $100K, from day-start balance and equity at 00:00. A gold stop that slips $15 on 1.00 lot is about $1,500. That is inside the day once and rude if you already used $2,000 in the morning. Prestige's static maximum is $10,000. A trailing 6% book may have less than $4,000 left if the morning was green. Equity Guard at $3,250 does not know which of those floors you are closer to. You do.
The stop has to exist before the number
Where the tier requires a hard stop, a straddle with no stop is a rule break and a blank check. Manual Trade Guard puts the stop on the MT5 fill so the ticket is not naked while you watch the candle. Match-Trader, cTrader, and DXtrade need the same prices. The 2,000 order-request ceiling is easy to hit if the bot "manages" the news candle tick by tick. Attach once. Let it work or let it stop.
One-sided or two-sided is your method only if the funded card allows the trade at all. Do not import another firm's two-minute ban or five-minute ban and call it this firm's rule. The matrix says to check the funded tier. Bot Control can pause the MT5 book for the window you actually confirmed, and it can leave the evaluation book able to trade the print.
A news winner held into midnight rebases Prestige
Prestige allows the overnight and the weekend. A CPI winner left open at 00:00 raises the next day's 4% base because the reset uses day-start balance and equity. Give the float back on the next candle and a large piece of the new day is gone while the closed balance still looks fine. Partial before the snapshot. Selected trailing programs restrict the hold, so the same CPI runner may have to be flat on Experienced even when Prestige could carry it.
There is no best-day consistency cap on Prestige or Experienced evaluations. A $3,500 news day does not fail those evaluations for being lumpy. It can still be 35% of a $10,000 Phase 1 and a terrible way to size the next trade. The 80% split, scaling toward 90% and 100%, is paid later, on a 7-day cycle from day 7, or from day 0 on selected programs.
Two news cards, one for each stage
Evaluation card: news allowed, hard stop on, size $500, flatten the day at $3,250, know whether you are on a $10,000 static floor or a $6,000 trail. Funded card: copy the window the tier actually published, and if you have not read it, the bot does not trade the release. The $499 fee is not a reason to discover the funded window live.
Register a free Venasri account and keep those cards separate. A stop filled on NFP counts. The permission to be in the trade does not refund the slippage. Phase 1 is still 10% and Phase 2 is still 5%, with zero minimum days, so you never needed the news candle to "get a day in."
