The opening minute is a sweep, not an entry signal
NAS100 often sweeps both the pre-market high and the pre-market low in the first minutes of 13:30 UTC, which is 9:30 AM Eastern. US30 does the same on a wider point range. A 60-point stop placed into that unfinished candle is a guess. Wait until the opening range has settled, then put the stop beyond the completed extreme, somewhere in the 60 to 100 point band, and include that stop in the order.
At about $1 per point, a 60-point stop at the $500 unit needs about 8.33 lots. A 100-point stop needs 5.00 lots. The 80-point middle is 6.25 lots. US30 often needs the 100-point end because a typical day runs hundreds of points, and 60 points sits inside noise. Bot controls should block new index entries during the opening minute and should refuse the order when the stop distance is missing or the cash risk is above the unit.
NAS100 plus US30 at the open is one equity bet
A 6.25 lot NAS100 idea and a 5.00 lot US30 idea, each stopped near $500, often fail together if the cash open reverses. That is $1,000, a fifth of the $5,000 Silver day, from two symbols that felt diversified. Pick one index. If you trade both, split the $500. On Gold 1-Step the day is $4,000, so the pair is a quarter of the allowance before any slippage.
A 12.50 lot NAS100 position is the doubled version, $1,000 at 80 points, and it is the size tilt reaches for after the first whip stops out a correct 6.25 lot trade. Two of those are $2,000. The modification limit will also notice if you then drag the stop on every point trying to save the second ticket. Attach 60 to 100 points once. Move the stop when the range breaks in your favor or when the first partial is taken.
Scalp edits have a budget, and the stop cannot come off
RebelsFunding limits order modifications. An index scalp that trails one point at a time through the first hour can exhaust that allowance while the trade is green. Four partials and one breakeven move are a modest count. A tick trail is not, and on RF-Trader a full automated entry engine is restricted even when a protective helper is allowed. Keep the human decision to enter, and let the helper do the stop.
The funded two-minute news block still applies if a release sits near the open. CPI at 12:30 UTC and the cash open at 13:30 UTC are different clocks, and both can extend an index fill. A 6.25 lot stop that runs from 80 points to 160 points costs $1,000 instead of $500. You may not delete the stop to avoid that tag. The day resets at 00:00 CET. A scalper who is flat by the European evening does not donate an index float to that snapshot. A scalper who swings the position does.
Stop the index day at $4,250 of Silver loss
Equity Guard should flatten Silver at $4,250 on $100,000 even if the next scalp looks clean. Eight full $500 losses would be $4,000, and the guard fires before a ninth can approach the $5,000 line. At the heavier $650 unit, seven losses are $4,550, so $4,250 cuts the streak off slightly earlier, which is the point. Gold 1-Step should flatten near $3,250. A Silver number on that program leaves you clicking after the 4% day has ended the account.
Create a Venasri login and store NAS100 and US30 as correlated. Save 6.25 lots as the 80-point NAS100 default for a $500 risk, and 5.00 lots as the 100-point US30 default. A 40-point stop does not entitle you to keep 12.50 lots. That combination is $500 only if the math says 40 times 12.50 equals $500, and it still has to survive a whip you were supposed to wait out, with the stop actually attached.
