0.83 lots is the half-percent plan and 1.45 lots is the cap
Gold pays about $10 per 0.10 of price on 1.00 lot, or $100 per $1. A 50 to 70 pip stop is a $5 to $7 move. At 0.80 lots the 50-pip stop is $400. At 1.45 lots the 70-pip stop is about $1,015. Four of those top-end losers are about $4,060. Silver can print that sequence and still have about $940 of the $5,000 day. Gold 1-Step cannot print it at all. The fifth Silver loser at $1,015 would be $5,075 and would breach. So the ceiling size survives a small number of wick fills and then it is done.
The half-percent unit is $500. A 60-pip gold stop at that cash risk is about 0.83 lots, the bottom of the band. A 50-pip stop at 1.00 lot is also $500. Use 1.45 lots only as a hard maximum you rarely touch. Bot controls should refuse a gold order above $500 of cash loss unless you deliberately override it, and they should refuse any gold order that does not contain a stop. On this firm the missing stop is a breach even when the lot is 0.10.
The COMEX open is where the 70-pip stop becomes 140
Around the COMEX opening window, a stop that looked structural at 70 pips can fill much farther. Doubling the distance at 1.45 lots turns $1,015 into about $2,030. That is 40% of a Silver day and half of a Gold 1-Step day, from one ticket. On the working 0.83 lot size, a 60-pip plan is about $500 and a 100-pip fill is about $830. The day grades the fill, not the distance you typed when the spread was quiet.
A second gold ticket, or a EURUSD position that is the same dollar view, adds another full risk to the same wick. Two 0.83 lot gold ideas are about $1,000 if both 60-pip stops fill. Count them as one bucket during that hour. The static 10% floor, $10,000 on this balance, is usually not what fails. The $5,000 day is. Every ticket in the bucket still needs its own stop.
Funded gold owes the two-minute window and the 50% cap
Funded accounts restrict the two minutes before a red-folder print and the two minutes after it. CPI is a gold event. A partial that fires inside the window can be a restricted close even though the lot was legal. If you want the profit banked, take it before the window. If you want the trade to survive the number, the cash at the wide stop has to fit the day, and the stop has to stay on the ticket. Pulling it off is a violation.
On multi-step plans one trade may not contribute more than 50% of cycle profit. A 1.45 lot runner that pays 150 pips makes about $2,175. Two of those own an $8,000 Silver Phase 1 cycle. The day resets at 00:00 CET from the day-start balance or equity. A gold runner that is $2,000 ahead at the snapshot can change the next base. Overnight holds still need a stop, and a weekend hold is legal only on the tiers that allow it. A Sunday gap on 1.45 lots is about $14.50 per pip.
Flatten Silver gold exposure at $4,250
Equity Guard should flatten Silver near $4,250 of daily loss on $100,000. Four max-band losers are about $4,060, so the guard sits just beyond that quartet and inside the official $5,000. Gold 1-Step should flatten near $3,250, because its day is $4,000 and the same quartet has already ended it. A guard set at the official print arrives when the firm is closing the account.
Open a Venasri account and store 0.83 lots as the 60-pip gold default on this balance, with 1.45 lots stored as a ceiling. If the structural stop is 70 pips, the half-percent lot is about 0.71. Change the stop first, then the lot, then send the order with the stop inside it. The $940 left after four ceiling losses is not a fifth idea at 1.45 lots. It is the remainder you do not spend.
