CTI times the stop, FundingPips times the float
City Traders Imperium expects a stop-loss within 60 seconds of the fill, on MT5 or Match-Trader, inside a 2,000-request day. FundingPips does not publish that stopwatch. It does publish a higher-of anchor at 00:00 UTC+3, so a $2,400 open winner can lift the next Dubai day. CTI uses the higher of balance or equity at its own midnight as well. A weekend hold, which CTI allows, can reprice Monday on both firms if you leave the float open. The difference is that CTI will also have failed you on Friday if the stop was never attached.
CTI wants three profitable days of at least 0.5%, which is $500 on this account, inside a $10,000 phase. FundingPips wants three minimum trading days and an $8,000 phase, without that $500 profitable-day test. Both days are still $5,000. The extra CTI day of $500 is a pace rule, not extra risk.
A $500 salary does not widen the $5,000 day
CTI's split runs from 80% toward 100%, plus a $500 monthly salary for qualified funded traders. Payouts come every 14 days, or on demand once profit hits 10%. FundingPips can reach 100% on the monthly cycle, 90% on demand with a consistency score, 80% bi-weekly, or 60% every Tuesday. The salary is the line item Dubai does not have. It is also $500, which is exactly one 0.50% loss. It does not pay for a breach.
There is no time limit on the CTI challenge. There is still a daily loss. Open a Venasri account and keep the salary in a note called income, not in the note called remaining drawdown. Traders who mentally add $500 to the $5,000 day are the ones who meet the firm line on a Wednesday.
Two minutes at CTI, five minutes in Dubai
Funded CTI accounts cannot straddle high-impact news inside two minutes. Funded FundingPips accounts use five minutes. Evaluation news is more open on both, and the funded rule is the one that counts after the pass. Weekend holding is permitted at CTI. FundingPips allows it on selected funded models and on the evaluation. A Friday gold hold can be legal twice and still expensive twice if both midnights adopt the higher equity.
Self-owned EAs and risk managers are allowed at CTI. FundingPips allows third-party risk tools and wants source ownership for a full entry bot. Bot controls should attach the CTI stop at the fill so the 60-second clock is not your memory, and they should block new funded Dubai orders inside the five-minute window.
Flatten both at $4,250, then obey the stopwatch
Equity Guard at $4,250 covers the shared day. It does not satisfy CTI's 60-second rule. A trade can be flattened at $4,250 and still have been naked at second 30. Put the stop on the ticket. Let the guard handle the idea that was wrong. CTI's 1-step is a 4% day and a 6% smart or trailing maximum. FundingPips 1-step is a 4% day and a 6% maximum. Those can share a flatten near $3,250. They cannot share the 2-step lot.
The $110 fee and the $2,000 harder CTI target buy a salary path and a stop rule. The $399 FundingPips path buys the shorter $8,000 target and the Tuesday menu. Neither buys a sixth $1,000 loss. Ten losses at $500 are the day on both cards.
