Five days and a 15% rebate versus three days and a $399 invoice
Both 2-Steps show 5% daily ($5,000) and 10% static max ($10,000) with 8% then 5% targets. FundingPips measures daily from the higher of balance or equity at 00:00 UTC+3. FundedNext measures from day-start balance with an equity check at 00:00 GMT+2/GMT+3. Overnight winners are dangerous on both and slightly more mechanical on FundingPips because "higher of" is explicit. FundedNext Stellar 1-Step is the sleeper differentiator: static 6% max and 3% daily, not a trailing 6%. FundingPips 1-Step is 4% daily and 6% max. If you came for a static one-step, read Stellar 1-Step before FundingPips 1-Step.
Hyperactivity favors FundingPips for fill-heavy scalpers: 2,000 server requests, no 200-trade ceiling. FundedNext adds 200 executed trades or 2,000 messages, plus $300K per identical EA. A 250-fill NY gold session fails Ajman and may still live in Dubai if messages stay under 2,000. That single cap decides more EA shoppers than the 15% challenge share does.
Tuesday menu versus 21-day first funded payout
FundingPips can pay every Tuesday at 60%, or stretch to 100% monthly. FundedNext first funded payout is after 21 days on Stellar 2-Step (5 days on 1-Step), then bi-weekly with the late-payout guarantee. If you need cash in week two of being funded, Dubai wins. If you want a cheque for Phase 1 profits, Ajman wins. News: FundingPips funded 5-minute window; FundedNext challenge news allowed, funded 5-minute unless add-on. Weekends allowed on both Stellar paths and on selected FundingPips models.
EAs on FundedNext need the EA option active on MT4/MT5. FundingPips wants source ownership for full entry bots and allows third-party risk EAs. Platforms: FundingPips has no MT4; FundedNext has MT4 and MT5, cTrader, Match-Trader. MT4 desks default to FundedNext. TradeLocker desks default to FundingPips. Neither match is about 5% daily anymore. It is about the socket you already trade.
Who should take the rebate, and who should take the discount
Pick FundedNext if 15% of evaluation PnL, a static 6% 1-Step, MT4, or a written late-payout SLA is the brief, and you can live under 200 trades a day. Pick FundingPips if $399, three days, Tuesday cash, or TradeLocker is the brief, and you will flatten before UTC+3. Do not pick FundedNext to run a 300-fill scalper. Do not pick FundingPips Zero Instant because you wanted Stellar 1-Step static 6%; Zero adds trailing and 45% consistency.
Two UAE desks, two 2022 birth years, two different invoices. Heritage is a tie. Caps and clocks are not. Size 0.50% on both 5% dailies. Then buy the cap you can obey.
Trade-count Guard on Ajman, equity midnight Guard on Dubai
Set Venasri Equity Guard at 4.25% on both 2-Steps, add a 180-fill warning on FundedNext, and add a pre-00:00 UTC+3 flatten on FundingPips when float exceeds $1,500. Step-filter trailing so neither 2,000-message pool dies. Do not copy a FundingPips scalper fill rate onto Stellar.
Venasri's free prop firm risk guard flattens both if either 5% daily is approached. Prefer FundedNext for the 15% challenge share and static 1-Step. Prefer FundingPips for price and Tuesday cash. The guard's job is to keep the 200-trade ceiling and the higher-of midnight from sharing one gold EA.
