What a $49 to $199 keypad still does better
Magic Keys (and similar Trade Assistant keypads) put lot math, SL, BE, and partial buttons under the mouse on a local MT4/MT5 chart. For a desk-bound scalper who never leaves Windows open, that UX is faster than any web app. A one-time license can beat years of SaaS if that is truly your life.
The license dies with the chart. Sleeping laptops, VPS disconnects, and MT5 mobile fills are out of scope. Those hours are when funded accounts actually die.
Local chart risk versus cloud adoption of mobile fills
If you buy from iOS MT5, Magic Keys is not in the path. No auto-SL, no trailing, no equity close. Venasri’s server-side Manual Trade Guard adopts that fill over ZeroMQ in milliseconds and attaches the scalp/intraday/swing template anyway.
Keep the keypad, add the always-on guard
Many desks keep Magic Keys for one-click lots at the PC and add Venasri so phone fills and overnight equity are covered. Enable Pro guards, set buffers in Venasri Risk Management, and confirm SKUs on Venasri Pricing ($0 Free, $9.99 Starter, $29.99 Pro).
create a free Venasri account, place one naked demo ticket from the phone, and watch whether a stop appears. That demo is the review.
When a one-time EA is enough
If the PC never sleeps, you never trade mobile, and you already flatten yourself, Magic Keys can remain the whole stack. If any of those three is false, the alternative is a cloud fuse, not a second keypad.
One-time pricing feels cheaper until a single missed mobile fill costs a challenge fee. Amortize honestly.
