A clean terminal with no plugin spine
Match-Trader as a firm-provided web/mobile terminal is simple: tickets, charts, PWA wrapper. No extra vendor. Manual SL/TP on the ticket is enough for a calm person.
Firm liquidation is not a pre-breach fuse
At -5.00% (or whatever the program prints) you are done. A pre-breach buffer at -3.5% or -4.0% is the only kind of stop that saves the evaluation. Match-Trader will not run that buffer as an independent service.
Venasri will, on MT5. That is why the alternative is a platform choice as much as a software choice.
Select MT5, then set the buffer
On the next challenge, pick MT5 if the firm allows it. create a free Venasri account, connect, and put the buffer in Venasri Risk Management. Plans: Venasri Pricing ($0 Free, $9.99 Starter, $29.99 Pro).
If you are locked into Match-Trader until this evaluation ends, trade smaller and do not pretend a PWA is a bot host. Plan the platform switch for the retry.
Terminal versus ecosystem
Match-Trader is a terminal. Venasri is an ecosystem that expects MT5. Comparing them as two terminals misses the EA spine. Comparing them as two risk systems is fair: one has only the firm’s knife. The other has a buffer.
Choose the ecosystem if you want rails. Choose the terminal if you want nothing extra and accept the knife.
