What Tradervue still does for stock day-trading desks
Tradervue’s free 30-trade month and $29-$49 paid plans made journaling normal for US equities and futures. Manual CSV and stock-broker imports, plus sharing notes with a coach, remain the product’s honest core. If that is your desk, it is not obsolete.
The layout is legacy web. There is no native iOS Live Activity, no AI model, and no MT5 execution bridge. That was fine when the pain was “I forgot why I faded the open.” It is not fine when the pain is “my funded gold account can die at 00:00.”
A 2010s journal cannot police a 2026 prop clock
No live MT5 write, no auto-SL, no equity circuit breaker, no tilt detectors. Tradervue will store the story of the breach. It will not prevent the breach. That is the entire alternative thesis.
Prop firms also cap server requests. A cloud guard that modifies stops in batches is a different design than a CSV uploader. If you need both notes and a fuse, do not ask Tradervue to grow the fuse.
Venasri as the MT5-era notebook plus fuse
create a free Venasri account (also a 5-trade free month, comparable in spirit to Tradervue’s 30-trade free cap, but with a live MT5 link). Set buffers in Venasri Risk Management. Compare SKUs on Venasri Pricing ($0 Free, $9.99 Starter, $29.99 Pro).
Migrate notes, keep the coach, change the fuse
You can keep Tradervue as a coach-sharing room for stock PnL and run Venasri on MT5. If you no longer trade US day-names, canceling Tradervue after a live week on Venasri is reasonable.
Do not migrate because of fashion. Migrate because your current failure is an unprotected ticket, not a missing note field.
