Same barrel math as WTI, slightly wider spread
If 1.00 lot is 100 barrels at $10 per $0.10, 16.6 lots at $0.60 is 1%. If 1,000 barrels, 1.66 lots. Confirm like USOIL. Spread 2.5 to 4.5 ticks ($0.025 to $0.045) is wider, so a $0.20 scalp is a worse fee than on WTI. ATR $1.50 to $2.75, a shade tighter than WTI's $1.60 to $2.90.
Handles 74.00, 75.00, 77.50. ICE London 07:00 to 11:00 UTC is the unique window. NYMEX overlap 13:00 to 17:00 UTC is when Brent and WTI trade as a pair.
London 07:00 UTC trend, then EIA, then OPEC/Red Sea
Unlike WTI, Brent can trend 80 cents in European morning before US inventory. That is the edge. EIA still matters because the complex is global. OPEC+ and Red Sea shipping headlines are Brent-specific gaps that Cushing EIA does not fully capture.
connect your MT5 account to Venasri and use Brent as the 07:00 UTC energy ticket, then decide whether WTI is needed at all in NY. Two full oil tickets are one crude bet with two spreads.
1.66 / 16.6 lots at $0.60, haircut if WTI is open
Same formula as USOIL once tick matches. 1.66 CL-style or 16.6 CFD at 1%, 0.83 / 8.3 at 0.50%. Scalp $0.20 to $0.35 only if spread is under 3 ticks in London, which is not guaranteed. Intraday $0.45 to $0.75, swing $1.15 to $2.00. Feed the tick to the Half-Kelly Lot Size Calculator & Equity Guard.
If USOIL is already 8.3 CFD lots, UKOIL is 0.00 or 3 lots residual. Correlation about 0.95. Red Sea days: cut 50% even if EIA is empty.
Trade ICE morning, reduce into EIA, respect OPEC geography
Best: 07:00 to 11:00 UTC after the ICE open settles, $1 handles, 8.3 CFD lots, $0.60-class stop. 13:00 to 17:00 UTC only if WTI is flat. Flatten or 4 lots into 14:30 UTC Wednesday. Flatten Friday into OPEC weekends if required.
Confirm barrel spec, unused WTI budget, EIA/OPEC/Red Sea calendar on the Pre-Trade AI Confluence Checklist. UKOIL is the European energy clock. It is not a delayed USOIL clone you size twice.
