Phase 1 math wants 1.5R banked, not 0.45R scratched
Fifty trades at +0.45R versus -1.0R and 60% wins is -$3,250, a hole equal to 32.5% of Phase 1. TP1 at 1.5R on 40% volume plus a 3R runner is the distribution that can print +10% in mid-50s win rates. FTMO has no hard consistency percentage, so a clean 4R runner is allowed. Do not fear it. Fear the scratch.
Phase 2 is +5%. The same partial ladder still applies. You just cut risk to 0.25% so a full loser cannot spend the $5,000 daily.
0.01 step on FTMO symbols
Round every split down to the volume step. Remainder stays on the runner. activate Venasri free on your MT5 account so you are not hand-closing 0.33 lots that the server rejects, then panic-closing all. Rejected partials plus a second click are how people full-close winners they meant to scale.
Swing accounts with 1:30 leverage still need lot-step rounding. Smaller max lots make 10% runners easy to round to zero if you are sloppy. Venasri keeps a minimum remainder.
BE lock after TP1 without 10016 drama
Four partials plus two stop locks is a handful of messages. Compatible with FTMO EA policy.
Do not retune rungs after a Prague losing day
Funded payouts start 14 days after the first funded trade, bi-weekly. Let runners work across that calendar. Scratching them for a prettier daily green is how splits shrink.
