Alpha Pro funded versus the evaluation
The 2-minute restriction is a funded Alpha Pro rule, before and after the high-impact release. Build the habit in the evaluation anyway, because the pass does not come with a new personality. CPI, NFP, and FOMC are the named events. If your calendar has another red-folder print, treat it with the same two minutes unless the dashboard says otherwise. The loss from a slipped stop is not theoretical. It hits the 5% line as soon as the fill exists.
Start a Venasri account and store a Pro news profile that is dark for those two minutes on either side. Three minimum trading days give you time to rehearse the pause. They are not three free news lotteries.
Alpha Swing is the release-friendly book
Alpha Swing is allowed to trade the news. That is a different product from Pro, in the same way a 2-step Pro account is different from Alpha One. Swing also permits weekend holds, along with Pro. If you bought Swing because you want CPI, do not import a Pro blackout that flattens you out of the trade you paid to take. If you bought Pro, do not import a Swing video that clicks the print.
One's daily loss is 4%, $4,000 on $100K, with a 6% end-of-day trail. A news wick that is legal on Swing can be a day-ending loss on One even when the trail looks fine. Equity Guard needs the product name, not just the word Alpha.
The higher-of clock around a news day
Daily loss uses the higher of day-start balance or floating equity at 00:00 ACG Markets time, GMT+2 or GMT+3. A news winner you refuse to close can raise the next morning's base. The 2-minute window and the midnight base are different traps on the same position. Flat the extra profit before 00:00 if you want tomorrow's $5,000 to be a full day.
Platforms are MT5, cTrader, and DXtrade. A stop attached in milliseconds still fills if price gaps through it during the print. The fill counts. Bot Control should block new Pro entries in the 2-minute window and leave the protective stop alone. Closing the trade by hand inside the window is the restricted act.
Duration and lot caps are not paused
A majority of funded profit from sub-60-second trades fails the book. News scalps are the usual way people collect that majority. The 2-minute window already limits Pro. Swing, which may trade the print, still has the duration rule if the profits are mostly under 60 seconds, and the under-2-minute majority test as well. Fast and allowed are not the same adjective.
The lot example is 25 lots on $100K. A news straddle that opens huge size can pass the 2-minute clock and fail the lot cap. The 80% split pays every 14 calendar days, or on demand with a 40% best day. A CPI day that is 40% of the cycle can stall the on-demand check even when the entry was legal on Swing.
