0.25 lots is exact and 0.30 lots is a different strategy
At $10 per pip, 0.25 lots times 20 pips is $50. Gold at $10 per 0.10 move needs 0.10 lots on a 50-pip stop for the same $50. Daily loss is $500, reset at 00:00 on live equity. Ten full FX losses at the correct size are the day. Eight losses at $60 are $480, and the ninth slip finishes it. The stage maximum is $1,000, two official days.
Phase 1 is $500 and the next 5% mark is another $500. Twenty minimum days turn the first target into $25 a session if you smooth it, half of one winner. Bot controls should reject anything above $50 cash risk, including the 0.30 lot click that feels like a rounding.
A $150 mistake is enough to annoy a $50 habit
The Edge Score runs from 50 to 90 or higher. If your last twenty trades risked $50, a $150 gold impulse is three times the habit. It is also only 1.5% of the account, nowhere near the $500 day, and it can still freeze the multiplier for a month. The 2-week pause is reserved for the $1,000 hole. Do not wait for that pause to decide the impulse was expensive.
Up to 90% of multiplier profit settles on the 1st. Your own deposit, which might be this entire $10,000, keeps 100% of its profit. The fee to enter the path is $0. Register with Venasri and keep the $50 unit on the card so the score and the payout are looking at the same behavior.
A quarter-lot weekend gap is a real fraction of $500
Weekend holding is permitted. A 40-pip Sunday gap on 0.25 lots of FX is about $100. On 0.10 lots of gold the same 40 pips is about $40. Either one matters when the day is already down $400. There is no news blackout, so a Monday CPI print on a position you held from Friday is two decisions stacked into one ticket.
Live equity at 00:00 means a $200 open winner does not expand the next day. If it gives back after the reset, $200 of the new $500 is gone. Partial it. Expert Advisors may hold the swing. They should know the cash value at the snapshot, not only the lot.
The flatten is $425, not the $500 target
People set the exit at $500 because it matches the target and feels round. That is the firm's line. Equity Guard belongs near $425, 4.25% of $10,000, leaving $75 for spread. A $4,250 guard copied from a larger guide never engages. A $250 guard copied from a $5,000 guide cuts this account in half of its real room and will frustrate you into turning it off.
After any scale, rebuild $50 as 0.50% of the new balance. The quarter-lot is correct only while the stage is $10,000 and the stop is 20 pips. Change either input and the lot is wrong, even if the platform still shows a familiar number.
