The shield is a flatten, not a warning
A personal EA that lets one idea float past the shield gets closed by the firm, and the close counts as a strike on the funded book. The EA rule states the 1% to 2% floating loss cap per trade as mandatory. The consistency line says the shield triggers on funded accounts and that repeated hits forfeit the account. Read them together: the cap exists on the trade, and the forfeiture language is aimed at the funded stage. Do not plan a funded bot that "uses" the shield as a stop. The shield is a strike.
The 4% daily loss is still there. A shield hit at $1,000 does not by itself breach $4,000. Two or three of them can remove the account anyway. The static 8% Unlimited floor and the trailing 6% Rapid floor are a third way to die, slower than a strike cluster.
Anti-hyperactivity without a number to hide behind
The published ceiling is standard MT5 anti-hyperactivity limits. This card does not give you 2,000 messages as a budget you can spend up to. A tick trail can still look like hyperactivity. Step the stop at breakeven and at partial targets. That pattern is a risk manager, which is allowed. A latency or grid style that hammers modifications is the thing anti-hyperactivity rules are written for.
You can create a Venasri login and connect MT5, Match-Trader, or TradeLocker. Store the shield as $1,000 to $2,000 of open loss on $100,000, separate from the $4,000 day. An EA that averages down will trip the shield faster than an EA that takes the $500 half-percent stop.
Two legal tickets can equal one shield
0.50% risk is $500. Two of those ideas open together can float to $1,000, which is the bottom of the shield, even though each ticket was inside the 0.35% to 0.65% band. The shield reads floating loss, not your planned risk per click. A missing stop makes it worse: the float runs until the firm cuts it, and you collect the strike plus whatever slippage the cut includes.
Keep combined open loss under the shield on Equity Guard, and keep the daily lock at 3.25%, $3,250. The shield should never be the first flatten you notice. Your own stop should be.
Where the bot may enter
EAs are allowed on the evaluation products. The funded book adds the strike count. Zero minimum trading days mean a bot can try to print the 8% Phase 1 target, $8,000, quickly. Rapid's trailing 6% and the shield will be the constraints, not a day counter. News on funded accounts is a five-minute window unless the news add-on is active. The add-on does not turn the shield off.
Bot Control should attach a cash stop inside $500 to $650, refuse a second ticket that pushes floating loss toward $1,000, and stay off a tick trail. The 85% split, bi-weekly from 14 days after the first funded trade, is paid to accounts that did not collect strikes.
