Three platforms, one floating-loss cap
Blue Guardian accounts run on MT5, Match-Trader, and TradeLocker. The evaluation has no minimum trading days, an 8% Phase 1 target, and a 4% Phase 2 target on the 2-step programs. Daily loss is 4% from the higher of day-start balance or equity at 00:00 server time, GMT+2 or GMT+3. Unlimited uses a static 8% maximum. Elite uses a static 10%. Rapid, the 1-step, trails 6% and still uses a 4% day.
The funded rule that changes the setup is Guardian Shield. Open loss of 1% or 2% forces a flatten and counts as a soft strike. Two or three strikes end the account. A ZeroMQ connection to the MT5 login lets Equity Guard see the same equity the desk will mark, including swap. The attach still has to happen on the order, not in a spreadsheet after the wick.
Stop, breakeven, and four partials
Manual Trade Guard is the layer that reacts to the fill. On a $100K book, 0.50% risk is $500. For EURUSD at $10 a pip, a 20-pip stop is 2.50 lots. For XAUUSD at $10 per 0.10 move, a 50-pip stop is 1.00 lot. Those sizes stay under a 1% shield at $1,000. A 1.45 lot gold ticket with a 70-pip stop is about $1,015 and can collect the strike by itself.
After TP1, the stop moves to breakeven plus a small buffer, then the remaining size scales out across TP2, TP3, and TP4. That sequence books part of the gain before 00:00. If a large green float is still open at the snapshot, the next day's 4% is computed from the higher equity. Equity Guard should flatten the day at $3,250, which is 3.25%, leaving a gap under the $4,000 official line.
Step the trail so the session stays quiet
Blue Guardian allows EAs and risk managers, and it enforces standard MT5 anti-hyperactivity limits. A trail that rewrites the stop on every tick spends that budget and can still be late to a gold wick. Step the stop in price, at the partial, not on every flicker. Funded accounts also restrict a 5-minute window before and after red-folder news unless the news add-on is active. A stop that fills inside that window still counts against the 4% day.
Bot Control is the place to pause entries through the funded news window and to block a fresh cluster after a losing close. The shield does not care that the second ticket was "only a scalp." If the open loss tags 1% or 2%, the flatten is a strike. Keep modifications few enough that the anti-hyperactivity ceiling is never the reason a stop arrives late.
Rehearse the attach before the fee is live
The $100K evaluation fee is $400. That is cheap compared with a shield strike in week one. Create a free Venasri account, connect the MT5 login, and place one tiny test order. Confirm the stop appears on the ticket, the breakeven shift waits for TP1, and the partials reduce size instead of closing the idea in one print. Then set the daily flatten at $3,250 and a max-loss awareness level inside the 8% Unlimited floor, which is $8,000.
If the live book is on Match-Trader or TradeLocker, copy those same prices onto that platform by hand at the fill. The MT5 path cannot invent a stop the other platform does not have. Overnight and weekend holds are allowed, so a Friday gold runner still needs the stop on it when the market reopens. The 85% split starts being relevant 14 days after the first funded trade, and only if the strike count is still clean.
