Blue Guardian News Trading Rules: Five Minutes Unless the Add-On Is On

Direct Technical Answer

Blue Guardian blocks funded orders for five minutes before and after red-folder news unless the news add-on is active. The add-on removes that clock. It does not move the 4% daily loss, $4,000 on $100,000, and it does not turn off Guardian Shield at 1% to 2% floating loss.

Blue Guardian news trading rules put a five-minute window on each side of red-folder news for funded accounts, unless the news add-on is turned on. CPI, NFP, and FOMC stops still count immediately against the 4% daily loss. On $100,000 that is $4,000. Buying the add-on deletes the clock. It leaves the cash line and the Guardian Shield, which will usually get there first.

The add-on deletes the clock and nothing else

Without the add-on, funded entries and the scramble around them are restricted for five minutes before the release and five minutes after. With the add-on, that restriction is lifted. Traders read the second sentence and trade the print as if the account were a cash account. Guardian Shield still flattens a 1% to 2% floating dip, $1,000 to $2,000 on $100,000, and a funded repeat of that flatten is a strike. A news wick is exactly the move that runs a stop or a naked ticket into the shield.

The 4% day still debits a slipped stop during CPI, NFP, or FOMC. The add-on is permission to be in the market. It is not insurance on the fill.

Rapid feels the wick sooner than Unlimited

Unlimited's static maximum is 8%, $8,000. Elite's is 10%, $10,000. Rapid trails at 6%, $6,000 at the start. A news stop of $2,000 is half a day on every product and a third of Rapid's starting trail. If Rapid has already trailed up because the morning was green, the same stop is a larger share of what remains. The daily percent does not change between products. The lifetime room does.

You can sign up for Venasri and keep a funded profile that knows whether the add-on is on. An evaluation habit copied onto a funded login without the add-on is a rule break even when the cash loss is tiny.

Be flat, or be inside the shield on purpose

If the add-on is off, be flat before the five minutes start. Equity Guard at 3.25%, $3,250, does not replace that. A flatten at $3,250 during the print is still a loss inside the window and still a debit. If the add-on is on, the position you keep needs a stop whose cash is inside the shield, not merely inside the $4,000 day. A $1,500 planned loss fits under 2% and does not fit under a 1% shield setting. Know which end of 1% to 2% the account is using.

Mark the choice on Equity Guard before the week, not during the spread. Zero minimum trading days are not a reason to gamble the print on day one.

The bot needs the add-on flag

EAs are allowed, under standard MT5 anti-hyperactivity limits. A bot that rewrites stops through a release can fail the hyperactivity test and the shield in the same minute. Match-Trader and TradeLocker sit on the same rule even when the message wording says MT5. Do not assume a non-MT5 login escaped the window.

Bot Control should block funded entries for those five minutes unless the add-on is actually on the account, and it should refuse a news lot that can float past $1,000. The 85% split does not reimburse a shield strike.

Frequently Asked Questions: Blue Guardian News Trading Rules: Five Minutes Unless the Add-On Is On

Can I trade news on a funded Blue Guardian account?

Only if the news add-on is active. Otherwise funded accounts are restricted for five minutes before and after red-folder news. A stop during CPI, NFP, or FOMC still counts against the 4% daily loss, $4,000 on $100,000.

Does the Blue Guardian news add-on remove the daily loss limit?

No. It removes the five-minute clock. The 4% day remains. Guardian Shield still flattens a 1% to 2% floating loss, and repeated funded hits forfeit the account. A news wick is a common way to collect that strike.

Is the news rule the same on Rapid and Unlimited?

The five-minute funded window and the add-on are the news rule. Rapid's trailing 6% maximum has less room for the same stop than Unlimited's static 8% or Elite's static 10%. The daily 4% is shared.

What should a Blue Guardian bot do around CPI?

Stay flat for five minutes each side unless the add-on is on. If it is on, keep the stop inside the shield, $1,000 to $2,000 on $100,000, and do not machine-gun modifications. Anti-hyperactivity limits still apply.
