The click sequence that earns a strike
The loss itself is rarely the whole story. The next few minutes are. A cluster of three or more fresh tickets after the stop, a stop dragged farther from price, a flurry of edits inside a single minute, an add onto a position that is already red, or a lot more than double the planned size: those are the leaks that turn one planned loss into an open hole the shield can see. Guardian Shield does not need all five behaviors. It reads floating loss.
Blue Guardian, founded in 2021 with desks in Dubai and Scotland, runs Unlimited Guardian and Elite Guardian as 2-step programs and Rapid Guardian as the 1-step. The shield is a funded-account rule on top of the 4% daily loss. Unlimited keeps a static 8% maximum. Elite keeps a static 10%. Rapid trails 6%. None of those floors erases a strike that has already been written.
Why $1,015 of gold risk can beat a $4,000 day
On $100K, 1% is $1,000 and 2% is $2,000. A gold ticket of 1.45 standard lots with a 70-pip stop risks about $1,015, because 1.00 lot is $10 per 0.10 move. That ticket can trip a 1% shield while more than $2,900 of the official day is still unused. The trader who sizes to the 4% line is negotiating with the wrong number. The shield is the first cashier.
A 0.50% plan risks $500 on that $100K book. Four closed losses at that size are $2,000, which matches a 2% shield only if the loss is open at the same time, and it is half of the $4,000 day if each ticket is closed first. Equity Guard belongs at 3.25%, or $3,250, so the session flattens with cash still between you and the $4,000 print.
Put the stop on the fill, then pause the next one
Manual Trade Guard attaches the stop when the MT5 order fills, so a phone click cannot sit naked while gold prints the COMEX reopen. The stop is the planned $500, which sits under a 1% shield. Match-Trader and TradeLocker are also Blue Guardian platforms, and the shield still reads the float there, so the same dollar stop has to be on that ticket even when the attach tool is the MT5 path.
Bot Control can hold new entries after a losing close until the next planned window. For gold that window is after the reopen has printed. For NAS100 and US30 it is after the 13:30 UTC candle has closed. Open a free Venasri account and rehearse one forced loser before the funded week, while the strike count is still zero.
The 85% split is paid on a clean strike count
Blue Guardian pays an 85% split on a bi-weekly cycle that starts 14 days after the first funded trade. There is no minimum trading-day count on the evaluation. That freedom is useful, and it removes the excuse that you had to force a trade on a dead session. A shield strike is still a funded-account event. Repeated hits forfeit the account, which ends the payout conversation before the fourteenth day arrives.
EAs and risk managers are allowed. A manager that adds to losers will collect strikes faster than a discretionary click. Keep one idea in the market after a loss, at the original lot, with the stop already working. The daily reset is 00:00 server time, GMT+2 or GMT+3, from the higher of day-start balance or equity. A revenge add held into that snapshot can raise tomorrow's 4% floor and still leave today's strike on the record.
