The fourth $650 idea is the breach, not the seventh
Option 2's hard day is $2,200. At $650, three full stops are $1,950 and the fourth is $2,600. At $350, six full stops are $2,100 and the seventh is $2,450. If you wanted a long string of losers before the firm stepped in, the low end is the only edge that even approaches it, and it still fails on stop seven. A middle unit of $500 allows about four stops, with $200 left, which is the same cushion a slip will use.
The $3,000 trail is wider than the day on Option 2, so the day binds first. On Option 1 there may be no $2,200 bucket at all. The live trail of $3,000 binds instead, and it binds on open equity. Bot controls should use the option's real ceiling, not a generic 2.2% remembered from a different product.
Three open $650 ideas are $1,950 before any stop is hit
A planned stop is the loss if you are filled. On Option 1, showing $400 of the $650 before the fill still moves the intraday trail. Three such tickets are $1,200 of open heat on the way to $1,950. Add a fourth because the first three have not officially lost yet, and you are arranging the $3,000 trail by hand. Correlated NQ and YM count as one ticket. The platform will not add them for you.
NQ is $20 a point, so $650 is about 32 points on one contract, or 81 points on four MNQ at $2 a point. Pick the distance you believe, then the contract. Doing it backwards is how a 32-point idea becomes a 60-point idea at the same lot.
The MT5 twin of $350 is 0.70 gold lots, and $650 is 1.30
At $10 per 0.10 gold move on 1.00 lot, a 50-pip stop needs 0.70 lots to risk $350 and 1.30 lots to risk $650. A major at $10 a pip needs about 1.75 lots for a 20-pip stop at the low end, and about 3.25 lots at the high end. The pretty 1.00 gold lot on a 50-pip stop is $500, the middle of the band. It is a fine unit. It is not a small add-on next to an open NQ.
Option 2 will still be flat by 3:59 PM CT, so a lot sized for an overnight gold swing has no job here. The session is the holding period. The lot has to fit the day, not the weekly ATR you used on a cash account.
Flatten Option 2 at $1,450 and Option 1 on the live trail
Equity Guard near $1,450 on Option 2 stops you after roughly two $650 ideas or four $350 ideas, with cash left under $2,200. On Option 1, set the guard from the session high. A $1,450 hole versus the start can be meaningless if you were up $2,000 and the trail has already climbed. Giveback is the Option 1 number.
Create a Venasri login per option. A single card with a $2,200 daily stop will sit idle on Option 1 while four NQ contracts through 40 points, $3,200, end the trail. The lot plan and the option have to be the same sentence.
