Price the doubled fill before you fall in love with the lot
MT5 gold pays about $10 per 0.10 move on 1.00 lot. The 0.90 lot, 55-pip case is 0.90 times 55 times $10, or $495. Stretching to 1.45 lots and 70 pips is about $1,015. Traders land there because the first lot felt slow. A wick that doubles the stop, common around the COMEX open from about 12:20 to 13:30 UTC, turns $1,015 into roughly $2,030. Option 2's day is $2,200. You are one noisy tick from done.
The same doubled wick on 0.90 lots is $990. That is a bad gold trade and a living afternoon. Bot controls should cap the lot from the stop distance, and refuse the order when the doubled-stop dollars exceed $1,450.
One GC is about $500 on a $5 move, which is the whole unit
The Bulenox book is futures. Full GC is about $100 per $1 of gold, so a $5 move, roughly 50 pips of $0.10, is about $500 per contract. That single contract is the unit. Micro gold, MGC, is about $10 per $1, so the same move is about $50, and ten MGC match the $500 idea. A second GC is $1,000 of planned risk and about $2,000 if the wick doubles, which is the Option 2 day.
XAUUSD plus GC is the same metal. $495 on MT5 plus $500 on GC is about $1,000 before the open prints. Option 1 adds them as live equity immediately. You do not get to call one of them a hedge.
Gold is the instrument the Master bracket rule is aimed at
The evaluation may hold a planned gold trade through a release. The Master account restricts bracket scalping into Tier-1 events. Gold is where that bracket is most tempting, because the spike is large enough to look like a pass. A 1.45 lot position sitting in that spike is also large enough to print the $2,200 day on the slip alone. Be in the evaluation with the small lot, or be flat.
Either option is flat by 3:59 PM CT. A gold runner held so the COMEX evening can pay you is a position past the deadline. The 4:59 PM CT mark will then read whatever the gap did, on Option 2, and Option 1 may already have trailed the high from the afternoon.
Let one ugly gold fill end the session at $1,450
Equity Guard near $1,450 on Option 2 means a doubled $720-style mistake ends the day, and a doubled $1,015 mistake should never have been opened because it can jump past the guard in one print. On Option 1, guard the live metal loss before it completes the $3,000 trail. One GC through $30 of gold is about $3,000 by itself. That is the contract cap, stated in dollars.
Open a Venasri account and store 0.90 lots, or one GC, as the maximum alongside the option name. The $100,000 fee is $145. It is not a reason to trade the 1.45 lot so the fee comes back before lunch.
