6.5% monthly VaR, 3.25% daily band, 10% style cap
Write the day as a budget, not a cliff. On a $100K-class DARWIN, 3.25% is about $3,250 of daily VaR room. Spending $3,400 does not close the login. It tells the normalizer your strategy is hotter than the 6.5% monthly target, so next month's seed weight falls. A 10% peak-to-trough ($10,000) is the style cap that further cuts D-Score. Ten trading days in the month keep the sample valid. A two-day hero month is a thin record, not a pass.
There is no 00:00 hard reset that fails you. The engine is continuous 24/5 on MT5. You can start a free Venasri account and still run a daily flatten so the VaR band is a choice. The calculator's job is to protect next month's allocation, not to dodge a breach email that does not exist.
The 0.20-to-3.00 lot jump, in allocation dollars
You trade 0.20 lots for three weeks. Rs looks stable. After a -$800 day you click 3.00 lots on gold, 15x the recent mean. The ticket wins $2,400. The monthly P&L looks fine. Cp and Rs do not. The allocator reads a book that cannot be copied at size, because the real risk is the tilt, not the average. Next month's seed is cut. Quarterly 15% fees shrink even though you "never failed."
The fix is mechanical. Cap any new ticket at 1.5x the 50-trade mean lot size, and cap daily open loss at 2.50% ($2,500 on $100K-class) so you stay inside the 3.25% VaR band. Set Venasri Equity Guard to that 2.50% flatten and add a lot-size spike alarm at 1.5x. Those two alarms are the Darwinex Zero calculator. A prop-style $5,000 daily knife is the wrong import.
High-water mark and the 15% fee are a third formula
Quarterly fees pay only on new profit above the high-water mark, and only on capital that is actually allocated. A pretty month with a dead D-Score can print +6% on your own DARWIN and still pay nothing if seed was already cut to near zero. The 5% implied hurdle is the bar where weight starts to matter, not a phase target. Track allocated notional, not only account P&L.
News and weekend holds do not have prop windows. They still spend VaR. A Sunday gap that costs 2% is a large slice of a 6.5% monthly budget. 24/7 MT5 Bot Control can flatten into known event risk if your DARWIN is not a Swing profile, and it can enforce the 1.5x lot band so a news spike does not become a 3.00-lot tilt.
Guard settings that protect weight, not a pass
Daily flatten 2.50%, monthly VaR warning at 5.0% (inside 6.5%), peak-to-trough warning at 7.5% (inside 10%), lot spike 1.5x, activity counter 10 days. There is no Prague midnight fail to race and no 2,000-request prop cap to game. DMA standards still punish chaotic modification in the attribute tape.
Rehearse a red day where you want to double size. If the lot alarm fires, the calculator worked. The €38 month continues either way. The allocation, and the 15% fee on other people's capital, continues only if Rs and Cp still look like a fund someone can copy.
