Ten percent changes the score and leaves the login in place
The published maximum is 10% on the flagship path and 10% on the 1-step path. On $100,000 that is $10,000. In a typical prop challenge that print ends the account. Here it lowers the D-Score and the weight of next month's seed allocation. You can still be trading on Monday. You will be trading a smaller copy if investors were following the signal.
Treat $90,000 of equity as a serious scar on the record, not as a mystery liquidation. The repair is a run of stable risk that lets the score recover. Open a Venasri account and log the Darwinex book as an allocation record, so the flatten level is aimed at the score, not at a deletion email that this firm does not send for the 10% hole.
The 3.25% day sits inside a 6.5% monthly VaR target
The risk engine normalizes the copied DARWIN toward a 6.5% monthly value-at-risk target. On $100,000 that target is $6,500. The 3.25% daily reference is $3,250. Two full days at that reference consume the month the engine is built to show investors. The reset is not a single 00:00 balance snapshot. The firm describes a continuous 24/5 VaR engine on MT5.
A quiet week at 0.50% a trade, which is $500, can lose six times and still be inside $3,250. A single 2% idea is $2,000, and two of them are already most of the day the monthly target can absorb. The dollar figure moves with the reference balance. The percentages are the part that stays put.
Both paths share the 10% reference
There is no tighter 6% trail hiding on the 1-step card and no looser static number hiding on the flagship card. Both list 10%. The flagship profit path is a 5% first target and a 0% second target. The 1-step comparison does not buy a different loss box. People who pick a product to escape a trailing floor will not find that tradeoff in these two percentages.
What does move the capital is the shape of the equity, not a second official percentage. Erratic size, a large giveback, and a drawdown toward $10,000 all lean on the D-Score. Stable size supports Risk Stability and Capacity, two of the attributes that decide how much seed shows up. Bot controls should keep the lot inside the unit you wrote down before the session.
Flatten near $2,500 so one day cannot spend the month
Equity Guard at 2.50% cuts a $100,000 reference near $2,500. That is $750 inside the $3,250 daily reference and leaves the other half of the $6,500 monthly VaR target untouched. Waiting for $3,250 means one session can consume half the month the engine normalizes.
After a winning month the high-water mark on investor profit is a separate test from this loss reference. A $10,000 hole can coexist with a month that still looks acceptable on closed trades if the damage was a giveback. Flatten while the loss is a bad day, and the D-Score has less to explain to the seed allocation.
