Weekend inventory belongs on the swing profile
The firm allows overnight and weekend positions on swing DARWIN profiles. If your signal is built as an intraday book, Friday flats are part of the identity investors are scoring. Holding a scalp through Sunday because it is green changes the profile the attributes see, even when no rule email arrives.
Pick the profile before the first Friday. A swing book that is flat every weekend looks like an intraday book with extra spread. An intraday book that occasionally inherits a gap looks unstable on Risk Stability. Register with Venasri and name the profile in the account so the flatten rules match the hold.
A 45-pip gap is $450 at 1.00 lot and $900 at 2.00
Gold pays $10 per 0.10 move at 1.00 lot. Forty-five pips is $450. At the 1.45 lot upper area some gold plans use, the same gap is about $652. On a $100,000 reference the daily figure is $3,250, so one gap is not the whole day. It is a large surprise debit before you have clicked anything on Monday, and it stacks with any loss you take after the open.
Indices gap in points. At $1 per point per lot, a 40-point NAS100 gap on 10 lots is $400. US30 often travels farther than NAS100 in a quiet Sunday reopen. Size the Friday hold for the gap, not for the Friday spread. Bot controls can flatten an intraday profile on Friday and leave a swing profile inside a predefined lot.
Wednesday financing is triple and it is still a loss
Wednesday swap is charged at triple the ordinary night on positions held through the roll. The cash amount depends on the symbol and the broker financing, so read it off the ticket rather than a blog average. The direction of the effect is fixed: it reduces or increases equity, and the VaR engine sees equity. A swing gold book held all week pays that triple night inside the same 3.25% reference as a losing trade.
There is no classic 00:00 deletion on this firm. The continuous engine still marks the book while the position is open. A trader who learned to fear a prop midnight reset can relax about a breach email and still respect Wednesday and Sunday as real P&L.
Arm the flatten before the session ends
Equity Guard should stay on over the weekend if the swing profile is allowed to hold. A $2,500 flatten on $100,000 will not catch a gap that opens $3,000 beyond the stop, because the market skipped the level. It will catch the Monday follow-through that tries to turn a $450 gap into a $2,800 morning.
The monthly VaR target is $6,500 on $100,000. A habit of holding full size into every Sunday can spend that target on gaps alone across a month. Cut the Friday lot to a fraction of the intraday unit if the thesis is a multi-day swing and the gap risk is the main unknown.
