DNA Funded EA and Trading Bot Rules: Server Message Caps & MT5 ZeroMQ Setup

Direct Technical Answer

DNA Funded EA and trading bot rules allow a personal Expert Advisor and a risk manager on MT5, and they prohibit copy-trading a third-party pass bot. The cap is 2,000 requests a day, on MT5 and TradeLocker. A legal bot still dies when a $100,000 Double Helix account touches $5,000 of daily loss.

DNA Funded allows your own Expert Advisor on MT5 and blocks copy-trading a third-party pass bot. TradeLocker is the other platform. The ceiling is 2,000 requests a day. Automation does not skip the 3 minimum trading days, the 5% Double Helix day, or the 5-minute news window that appears after you are funded.

Your code, not a rented pass

A personal EA and a risk manager may run on MT5. A bot whose job is to copy someone else's passing trades is the prohibited product. The $100,000 fee is $449. Create a Venasri profile and attach only the guard you can explain, on a login that is actually yours.

Double Helix daily loss is 5%, $5,000 on $100,000, with a static 10% maximum. Single Helix daily loss is 4%, $4,000, with a 6% maximum that can be static or trailing. An allowed EA that risks 2% still ends a 5% day in three losses. Permission is not a sizing exemption.

Two thousand requests, then silence

The cap is 2,000 requests a day. A gold manager that rewrites the stop on every small fluctuation will spend it during London, even if the strategy is not a pass-bot. Move the stop at planned prices. Leave the order alone between those prices.

Bot Control should send the stop once and the later changes rarely. Equity Guard should flatten a Double Helix $100,000 book near $4,000 of loss measured from the current anchor, including an anchor that jumped at 00:00 because equity was the higher number.

The funded clock adds a news window the exam does not have

News is allowed during the evaluation. Funded accounts pick up a 5-minute restriction window. A bot that traded CPI all through Phase 1 and Phase 2 is not automatically legal on day one of the funded account. Turn that window on when the status changes, or the same code becomes the violation.

Weekend holding is permitted on Single Helix and Double Helix. The daily anchor is the higher of balance or equity at 00:00. A bot that holds a $3,000 gold float into that snapshot rebases the next day. That may be what you want. It is not free.

Payouts and the 40% Rapid test

The split is 80%, or 90% with the add-on. Standard payouts are 14 days, or 7 with the rapid add-on. You still need 3 trading days on the evaluation. There is no shortcut in the EA rules that deletes the day count. The Rapid Challenge adds a 40% best-day profit cap. A bot that makes $4,500 of a $10,000 target in one session can fail that cap while every stop was technically allowed.

DNA Markets is the liquidity behind the firm, with tight raw spreads on gold and major FX as the reason people automate here. Tight spreads do not raise the request cap and do not legalize a third-party pass bot. Keep the personal EA inside $500 risk on $100,000 and inside the funded news window.

Frequently Asked Questions: DNA Funded EA and Trading Bot Rules: Server Message Caps & MT5 ZeroMQ Setup

Are Expert Advisors allowed at DNA Funded?

A personal EA and a risk manager are allowed on MT5. Copy-trading a third-party pass bot is prohibited. TradeLocker is the other platform. The cap is 2,000 requests a day. The 5% Double Helix daily loss and the 4% Single Helix daily loss still apply to every fill.

What changes when a DNA Funded bot gets funded?

The evaluation allows news. The funded account adds a 5-minute restriction window. The bot has to stop opening or managing inside that window once you are funded. The loss line does not relax. Double Helix still fails a $100,000 account at a $5,000 daily touch.

Does the bot have to trade for 3 days?

The evaluation requires 3 minimum trading days. An EA that tries to finish in a single session is fighting that count. The Rapid Challenge also caps the best day at 40% of profit. A huge automated winner can break the cap even when the daily loss never printed.

How should the guard handle the DNA Funded midnight anchor?

The day uses the higher of balance or equity at 00:00. If equity is $103,000, the next 5% hole is $5,150, not $5,000 under $100,000. Recompute the flatten from that anchor. A personal risk manager may do it. A copied pass bot may not.
