The Rapid cap is a share of profit, not a share of balance
Double Helix and Single Helix do not carry a best-day consistency cap. Rapid does: no single day may contribute more than 40% of cycle profit. That test looks at how the profit was earned, not at whether you touched 5% daily loss. A $100,000 Double Helix Phase 1 target is $10,000. On Rapid, a day of $4,100 is already 41% of that target if the rest of the cycle is still thin, and the account can be refused even though equity never approached a $5,000 hole.
Traders meet this after a clean gold expansion, not after a tilt spiral. The day is the best day of the month, which is exactly what the cap punishes. If you want the Rapid calendar, plan the cycle so no session is allowed to print more than about $3,500 of a $10,000 target. Leave the hero day for a Helix book that does not score it.
Oversized gold is how a legal stop becomes an illegal day
DNA Markets is an ASIC-regulated liquidity backer with tight raw spreads on XAUUSD and the majors, so gold is the instrument people size up. Contract math does not care about the spread. One standard lot is $10 per 0.10 price move, which is $100 per $1. A 1.50 lot position with a 70-pip stop risks $1,050. On $100,000 that is just over 1%. Two winners of that size are more than $2,000 if they pay 1R, and three of them can become the 40% day before lunch.
The same lot is how the 5% line disappears when the winner does not come. Two full $1,050 losses are $2,100. A third, plus spread, is most of a $5,000 Double Helix day. Rapid fails you for the large green day. Double Helix fails you for the large red day. The lot was the same decision. Bot controls should refuse a gold ticket that risks more than the 0.50% unit you wrote down before the session.
00:00 takes the higher of balance and equity
Daily loss on DNA Funded is anchored to the higher of day-start balance or equity at 00:00 DNA Markets server time. A runner that is $3,200 in profit at 23:50 does not gift you a cushion. The snapshot can use that higher equity, and a giveback after midnight spends the new day. Closed balance may still look like yesterday was a win. The new 5% hole is measured from the richer number.
This is separate from the Rapid cap. You can bank a modest closed gain, hold the rest, trip the higher-of rule, and also have yesterday count as the big day in the consistency test. Partial the float before the clock if you do not want Tuesday to inherit Monday open profit. Weekend holding is allowed on Single Helix and Double Helix, which makes Friday into Monday the long version of the same snapshot.
Put a cash stop in front of both traps
Equity Guard should flatten Double Helix near $4,250 of daily loss on $100,000, which is 4.25% and $750 inside the official $5,000 line. That flatten does not fix a 40% profit-share problem. It stops the red version of the same oversized gold habit. For the green version, cap the session profit you are willing to count, and stop trading Rapid once the day is near 30% of the cycle so slippage cannot push you through 40%.
Funded accounts also pick up a five-minute news window that the evaluation does not emphasize. A stop that slips through CPI still counts against the daily line. Create a Venasri login and attach the guard to the DNA Markets clock, not to your laptop local time. A flatten that fires at 00:00 UTC is an hour or two away from the real snapshot in GMT+2 or GMT+3, and that gap is long enough for gold to rewrite the day.
