Rapid fails on the way up
Forty percent of $10,000 is $4,000. The moment a chase-winner closes at $4,200, the cap is broken even though you feel ahead. Open a Venasri account that knows today's profit as a share of the Rapid target, not only as a green number.
Double Helix will accept that $4,200 day toward a $10,000 Phase 1, because it has no 40% cap, as long as you still complete 3 trading days and you never touched $5,000 down. The product name decides whether the winner is a pass or a problem.
Double Helix fails on the way down
A planned $500 loss leaves $4,500 of a Double Helix day. Doubling the lot to get it back makes the next stop $1,000. Two of those, plus the original, are $2,500. Keep going and $5,000 arrives before the emotion does. Single Helix is already dead at $4,000, so the same sequence fails one card earlier.
Equity Guard should flatten Double Helix near $4,000 and should block a larger second ticket while the first loser is still open. Bot Control can refuse the new order. Widening a gold stop from $5 to $15 on 1.00 lot adds about $1,000 of risk without a fresh entry, because 1.00 lot is about $100 per $1.
A winner that was underwater already lost
If equity tagged the daily line and then came back, the comeback is a story about a closed account. The higher-of midnight rule can make that tag easier to hit: a $3,000 float from the night before means part of the new day is already spent when the float disappears. Tilt on a rebased morning starts closer to the line than tilt on a flat one.
There is still a 3-day minimum. Blowing day two to avenge day one does not get replaced by day three. The evaluation allows news, which is when the revenge click feels most justified. The funded account adds a 5-minute window, so the same click can be a rule breach and a loss at once.
What not to automate
A personal EA may enforce the flatten. A third-party pass bot is prohibited, and a martingale recovery bot is the usual shape of tilt even when nobody called it that. The cap is 2,000 requests a day. Hammering the stop price spends the cap and does not move the line.
The split, 80% or 90% with the add-on, after 14 days or 7, never arrives for the Rapid cycle that printed 42% or the helix that printed the touch. Stop the session at 35% of the Rapid target on the way up, and at $4,000 down on Double Helix. Those two quits are the whole protection.
