The spread is the reason, the line is the limit
DNA Markets backs the book with tight raw gold and FX spreads. That is why gold is the instrument. It is not a larger daily loss. Open a Venasri account and price 1.00 lot at about $100 per $1 before you use the tight spread as a reason to add size.
Double Helix allows $5,000 down on a flat $100,000 and a static $10,000 maximum. Single Helix allows $4,000 down and a $6,000 maximum, static or trailing. A $35 move on 1.00 lot is about $3,500. On 1.40 lots it is about $4,900. The second size is the Double Helix day in one swing.
A $5 stop is $500, and a $35 range is not your stop
1.00 lot with a $5 stop risks about $500, ten of which fit in a $5,000 day. If the chart needs an $8 stop, 0.60 lots is about $480. Keeping 1.40 lots and pretending the stop is $2 will not survive the range that shows up on a loud day. The tight spread helps the entry. It does not shrink the range.
Equity Guard should flatten Double Helix near $4,000, which is less than 1.40 lots through $35. Bot Control should put the real stop on at the fill. Personal EAs may do that. A third-party pass bot may not. The cap is 2,000 requests a day, so do not trail every $0.10.
Rapid cares about the winning gold day
The primary way Rapid fails is an oversized gold winner, not only an oversized loser. Forty percent of a $10,000 target is $4,000. A $35 move on 1.20 lots is about $4,200 if it pays you, which is 42%. You can be nowhere near the loss line and still break the cap. Double Helix has no such cap and will count the $4,200 toward the $10,000 Phase 1, across the 3 days you still owe.
The evaluation allows news, which is when the $35 print happens. The funded account adds a 5-minute window. A gold plan that depends on holding CPI is an evaluation plan until you pass, and then it has to change. Weekend holding is allowed on both helixes, and a Sunday gap is the other way a gold lot meets $35.
Midnight and a gold float
Hold 1.00 lot that is $20 in profit, about $2,000, into 00:00, and the higher-of rule anchors the next day above balance. Five percent of a $102,000 anchor is $5,100. Give the $2,000 back at the open and a large piece of Wednesday is gone before the spread, tight as it is, even matters. Bank part of the gold float if you do not want that rebase.
The split later is 80%, or 90% with the add-on, after 14 days or 7. None of it pays the Rapid cycle whose best gold day was 42%, or the helix whose 1.40 lots met a $35 loser. Size for the stop you will actually keep, then check the 40% cap if the card says Rapid.
