Phase 2 at 4% is the 2-step bargain
Classic Phase 1 is 8%, $8,000 on $100K. Phase 2 is 4%, $4,000. That second hurdle is half the first, and it is lower than the 5% second phases common at other desks. You still have to get through Phase 1 without tagging a 5% day, $5,000. Sixteen winners at 0.50% ($500) sum to the $8,000. Eight of those winners cover Phase 2.
The maximum on the flagship 2-step is 8%, $8,000, unless you buy a Classic slider up to 14%, $14,000. The profit target and the tight floor are the same $8,000, so a Phase 1 that is made and then given back can fail on the floor at the exact dollar amount you were trying to earn. Register on Venasri with two cards, Classic and One, so the 4% day never inherits the 5% guard.
E8 One is a shorter calendar and a tighter box
E8 One is the 1-step. Daily loss is 4%, $4,000 on $100K. The maximum is an end-of-day trailing 6%, $6,000 under the highest closed balance. There is no Phase 2. The trail can rise after a green close, which means the room you had on day one is not the room you have after a $3,000 winning day that you bank. The new cushion is still 6% of the original account, stepped up from the new end-of-day mark.
A 4% day dies before a 6% trail if the loss is sudden. Four losses at 1.0% ($1,000) end the day. The working size is closer to 0.35% ($350) if you want a string of stops inside $4,000. Seven stops at $350 are $2,450. Seven at $650 are $4,550, already through the 1-step day. Set the flatten in Equity Guard at the 4% contract, not at the Classic 5%.
What stays the same on both paths
Both reset at 00:00 platform server time from day-start balance plus floating PnL. Both allow weekend and overnight holds on standard CFD tiers. Both allow news in the evaluation, and both restrict funded opens and closes during the five minutes before and after a high-impact release. Personal EAs and risk managers are allowed on both. HFT, latency arbitrage, and public copy-trading are prohibited on both.
The split is chosen at checkout, 80% up to 95%. The first payout is after 8 days, then every 14 days. Selected on-demand tiers add a 40% best-day rule. That payout math does not care whether you passed One or Classic. The loss math does. Open Bot Control and keep a news pause on the funded profile for whichever path you passed.
Which path fits a 0.50% trader
If your trades risk 0.50%, $500 on $100K, the 2-step day absorbs ten full stops and the 8% floor absorbs sixteen. Phase 1 needs sixteen winners at that size. Phase 2 needs eight. The 1-step day absorbs eight stops at $500 ($4,000) and the trail is $6,000 until a winning close lifts it. Ten stops at $500 are already through the 4% day.
Pick Classic if you want the 4% Phase 2 and you can live with two targets. Pick One if you want a single stage and you will cut size to fit $4,000. A 14% Classic slider is a third choice: more lifetime room, same 5% day. The day is still the line that fails most 0.50% plans, not the slider.
