Personal EAs yes, HFT and public copy no
Classic 2-Step: 5 percent daily from day-start balance, 8-14 percent customizable max, 8 percent then 4 percent targets, 1 minimum day, $488 on $100K. E8 One: 4 percent daily, 6 percent EOD trailing, 9 percent target. E8 Track: 3-step. Personal EAs and risk managers permitted. HFT, latency arb, mass social copy prohibited. Dallas/Prague desk, not an MT5-only shop (cTrader, Match-Trader, TradeLocker too).
A trade manager that attaches SL and TP1-TP4 is the intended automation. A tick-arb that lives on 50ms is the banned kind. If you cannot explain the edge without 'queue position,' do not load it on E8.
Slider max 8 percent versus a 10 percent FTMO bot
Primary trap: choosing 6 or 8 percent max at checkout to save on the challenge fee without cutting risk from 1.00 percent to 0.35 percent. An EA that still risks 1 percent will spend 8 percent max in a normal cluster. If you buy 14 percent max, you paid for width. Use 0.50 percent anyway. The 4 percent Phase 2 target on Classic is small. A bot that hunts 8 percent in two tickets will overshoot Phase 2 discipline.
Funded 5-minute news and the same EA
Evaluation news is allowed. Funded E8 restricts opening or closing 5 minutes before/after high-impact. A bot that straddles every print on Classic Phase 1 will fail funded. Weekend holding is allowed on standard CFD tiers. Day-start-balance daily math is closer to E8/Lark than to FundingPips higher-of-equity. Still bank float if you cannot watch 00:00.
Match the bot to the slider you actually bought
Read the max percent on the invoice. Set Venasri Equity Guard 0.75 points inside that max and 0.75 inside 5 percent daily ($4,250 on $100K Classic daily). 24/7 MT5 Bot Control pauses funded news and refuses copy-signal lots.
start free on Venasri before you move the slider to 8 percent. A quiet personal EA on 14 percent max is a different plan from a 1 percent-risk bot on 8 percent max.
