The slider you bought is the floor you have
Choosing 6% or 8% at checkout lowers the fee and lowers the room. An 8% floor on $100K fails at $92,000. A 6% choice fails at $94,000. If each trade risks 1.0%, eight losses of $1,000 consume the 8% floor and six losses of $1,000 consume a 6% floor. The fix named by the firm is to cut risk from 1.0% down to 0.35%. That is $350, and the 8% floor then takes a far longer string of full stops.
Open a Venasri account and type the slider percent before you type a lot. A 14% purchase, $14,000 of room on $100K, is a different product. Guarding it like a 6% account flattens early. Guarding a 6% account like a 14% account never flattens in time.
What 00:00 does to a green float
The daily reset is 00:00 platform server time. The base is day-start balance plus floating PnL. A gold or index winner still open at that print raises the base the next 5% is calculated from. On a 2-step $100K account the official day is $5,000 only when the base is $100,000. A higher base means the next dip spends a day that was rebuilt around the open profit.
Close part of the winner before 00:00 if you want the profit in the closed balance and a fresh day underneath. Equity Guard on the pass plan flattens a 2-step book at 4.25%, $4,250, and it should also know the clock. A guard set to 17:00 New York will miss an E8 midnight and catch the wrong session.
One's trail is a second midnight
E8 One trails 6% at the end of the day. A strong close lifts the cushion. Giving the profit back the next morning spends room that did not exist at the start of the challenge. That is separate from the Classic slider trap, and it stacks with it if you bought One thinking the 6% was static. The 1-step day is 4%, $4,000, so the morning giveback can end the account on the daily line before the trailed floor is the headline.
Classic does not lift its floor when you have a green day. If you are on Classic and the floor moved, you are reading a One account. Check the dashboard. Bot Control can flatten into the close on One when you do not want a new end-of-day high to tighten the path back down.
The leaks that look like strategy
Five tilt leaks spend the day without touching the slider: 60-second rapid edits, three or more trades in a five-minute span after a loss, a widened stop, averaging down, and size above 2x. Funded opens and closes are restricted during the five minutes before and after high-impact news. A stop in that window still counts. Weekend holds are allowed, and Sunday gaps count.
Personal EAs are allowed. HFT, latency arbitrage, and public copy-trading are not. A copier that doubles size after a loss is the 2x leak with a robot attached. The first payout is 8 days away only if the account still exists. Selected on-demand tiers also want the best day inside 40% of profit. A revenge day that wins big can pass the loss lines and still stall the payout.
