Sixteen winners, not one hero day
0.50% of $100K is $500. Ten winning trades at that risk bank $5,000, which matches the daily loss allowance and covers 5 of the 8 percentage points. Sixteen winning trades bank $8,000, the Phase 1 target. The 10 to 16 range is the count of trades, and the arithmetic only lands on 8% at the long end if each winner is about the risk you planned. A 2R winner shortens the count. A scratch lengthens it.
Open a Venasri account and write $500 as the risk unit before you look at lot size. Gold and indices change the lot. They do not change the $500. If two positions share one idea, they share one unit.
4.25% is the flatten, 5% is the breach
The 2-step daily loss is 5%, $5,000 on $100K. Flattening at 4.25% is $4,250. That leaves $750 between the guard and the firm's line, which is the spread, the gap, and the click you were late on. The 1-step day is 4%, $4,000. A 4.25% guard is already past that contract. One and Classic cannot share a guard number.
Set Equity Guard to 4.25% on Classic and to a number under 4% on One. The reset is 00:00 from day-start balance plus floating PnL. If you are in profit at the print, the next day's 5% is taken from a higher base. Banking part of the float keeps the next $5,000 honest.
Phase 2 is a smaller pile of the same trades
Phase 2 is 4%, $4,000. Eight winners at $500 complete it. The maximum on a tight Classic account is 8%, $8,000, so Phase 2's target is half the floor. You can give back the entire second target and still be inside the maximum, and you can also give back $5,000 in one day and fail anyway. The day remains the binding line.
A 14% slider makes the floor $14,000. It does not make the day $7,000. The day stays $5,000. People buy the wide slider and then raise risk toward 1.0%, $1,000. Five of those losses are the day. The pass plan stays at 0.50% even when the floor is wide. Bot Control should cap new risk at one $500 unit.
The other ways a green pass dies
Funded opens and closes are restricted during the five minutes before and after high-impact news. Evaluation steps allow news, and a stop during a release still counts toward $5,000. Weekend holds are allowed. A Sunday gap is Monday's loss. The first payout is 8 days after you are funded, then every 14 days, at a split from 80% to 95%.
Selected on-demand tiers use a 40% best-day rule. A single day that is $3,200 of an $8,000 pass is 40% of that profit. Keep the best day under that share if you want the on-demand path. One minimum trading day means you may pass the calendar on day one. Spread the $8,000 across the 10 to 16 trades anyway.
