What the five leaks look like in the ticket
A 60-second edit is a stop or target rewritten again and again while the trade is open. A burst is three or more fresh tickets in a five-minute span after a loss. A widened stop moves the invalidation farther away so the original 0.50% becomes 1.0% or more. Averaging down adds a second position to a loser. A lot above 2x the plan is the size jump that turns one bad idea into the whole day.
On $100K the plan unit in the pass math is $500, which is 0.50%. Twice that is $1,000, a full 1.0%. Five of those doubled tickets equal the $5,000 day. Start a Venasri account so the planned unit is on file before the loss that makes you want a bigger one.
Why the 5% day is gone before you notice
The daily loss includes floating PnL and resets at 00:00 from the day-start balance. Three quick losers at $650, the top of the 0.65% band, are $1,950. Add a widened fourth ticket and a 2x fifth ticket and you are through $5,000 without a single planned setup. The maximum floor, 8% or wider, never gets a vote.
Equity Guard on a 2-step account should flatten at 4.25%, $4,250 on $100K, which is the pass-plan buffer under 5%. On E8 One the day is $4,000, so the guard has to sit under that smaller number. A guard copied from Classic will be late on One.
Stops, averages, and the 2x lot
Widening a stop is how a $500 idea becomes a $900 idea without a new entry on the blotter. The firm sees the cash, not the story. Averaging down stacks a second $500 under the first, so one idea is now $1,000 and a third add is $1,500. That is the 1.0% checkout mistake arriving one click at a time.
Above 2x means a $500 plan printed as $1,000 or more. The lot band of 0.35% to 0.65% ($350 to $650) is already the ceiling for a fresh idea. A revenge ticket above 2x is outside that band by definition. Bot Control can block a new order when open risk on the idea is already at the ceiling.
The clock does not pause for tilt
Funded accounts restrict opening and closing during the five minutes before and after high-impact news. A revenge click in that window is both a behavior leak and a rule event, and the loss still hits the 5% day. Weekend holds are allowed, which means a Sunday open is a terrible time to average a Friday loser.
The first payout is 8 days out, then every 14 days, at 80% to 95%. A tilt day that spends $5,000 ends the account before any of those dates matter. One minimum trading day will not save a book that doubled size after the first stop. Personal risk managers are allowed. They are useful only if they refuse the sixth ticket.
