Cash lines first: $5,000 versus $3,000
Stellar 2-Step daily loss is 5% of the day-start construct, reset at 00:00 GMT+2 or GMT+3 DST, with an equity check at rollover. On a quiet $100K that is $5,000. Static max is $10,000. Stellar 1-Step daily is $3,000 with a static $6,000 max. Lite's lifetime number is 8%. Instant and Futures need their own sheet; Futures can add a 40% consistency rule that CFD Stellar exams do not.
Because 1-Step is static 6% rather than trailing, a winning week does not drag the floor up behind peak equity. That is the entire reason to pay for Stellar 1-Step instead of a trailing rival. The cost is the 3% daily hole. A $2,400 gold loser plus spread on $100K 1-Step has already spent 80% of the day. 2-Step would have called that same loser a 2.4% event inside a 5% hole.
Rollover equity check, not a slogan
FundedNext's daily basis is described as initial-balance anchored from day-start balance and an equity check at rollover. Treat open float at 00:00 as able to spend the new day's 5% (or 3%) even if you think of yourself as a closed-balance trader. If you are +$4,000 floating into midnight on 2-Step, do not assume Tuesday still has a fresh $5,000 under $100,000. Partial before the GMT+2/GMT+3 stamp if the float is large relative to daily.
Challenge news is allowed, so evaluation days can include CPI. Funded days add a 5-minute window with split deductions or restrictions unless you bought the add-on. A funded stop during NFP can spend daily loss and haircut the split. Calculate both: cash breach risk and payout haircut risk. You can start a free Venasri account and tag which of your days are evaluation-legal versus funded-legal.
Add fills and messages to the daily sheet
Remaining daily cash is only half of remaining daily capacity. Remaining fills equal 200 minus executed trades. Remaining messages equal 2,000 minus orders and modifications. A trail that modifies 20 times per position times 15 positions is 300 messages before you count entries. Session design should budget messages the way it budgets dollars. If London already used 140 fills, New York is a select-only session, not a revenge session.
The $300K identical EA cap is a career calculator, not a daily one. Running one strategy fingerprint across more than $300K of FundedNext allocation is a rules breach even if every account's 5% line is green. Keep strategy IDs and lots honest if you operate more than one Stellar account.
Guard dollars and throttle the bot
Venasri Equity Guard should flatten near $4,250 daily on 2-Step $100K and near $2,250 on 1-Step $100K. 24/7 MT5 Bot Control should stop sending entries when fills approach 180 or messages approach 1,800, not at 201 after the desk has already counted. The ZeroMQ MT5 Bridge is how those counters stay live instead of waiting on a nightly statement.
Keep the 15% challenge share out of the daily risk formula. It is a payout on profits you already made inside the 5% line, not extra margin. If you want the 5-day 1-Step payout clock, accept the $3,000 daily hole and static $6,000 max as the price of that speed. Mixing 2-Step lot size with 1-Step daily math is the fastest way to waste the $549 fee.
