The trade cap at the cash open
The ceiling is 200 executed trades or 2,000 modifications in a 24-hour day. NAS100 and US30 at 13:30 UTC are where a scalp EA prints both counters. The bot should stage one stop and a few partials, not a modify on every tick. Crossing either cap fails the account while the 5% daily loss, $5,000 on $100,000, can still show room.
The same cap applies on MT4 and MT5 when the EA option is active. cTrader and Match-Trader are also on the platform list. One identical strategy stops at $300,000 of allocation. Two index accounts on the same trail can share that ceiling.
60 to 100 points after the whip
9:30 AM ET is 13:30 UTC. The opening whip trades both sides. The stop goes on after that candle settles, at 60 to 100 points. Entering during the unsettled candle is how a normal index idea becomes the whole daily loss. The lot still has to fit the 5% day. The rule gives the point distance, not a dollar value per point.
Weekend holding is allowed on Stellar 1-Step, 2-Step, and Lite. An index scalp does not have to become a weekend swing. If it does, Sunday's gap counts toward the 5% day, and equity at 00:00 can raise the next base. Equity Guard should stay armed if you convert a scalp into a hold.
A 5% day is separate from the trade count
You can be inside 200 trades and still lose $5,000. You can be under $5,000 and still be at trade 201. Both are failures. 1-Step daily loss is 3%, so the same point stop is aimed at a smaller day. The static maximum is 10% on 2-Step, 6% on 1-Step, and 8% on Lite.
Five minimum trading days mean a single open cannot complete the evaluation. Phase 1 is 8%. Create a Venasri account and count trades for the index session separately from the swing book, because both share the same 200.
The open is not automatically a news window
Challenge phases allow news. Funded accounts have a 5-minute window around high-impact releases. The 13:30 UTC equity open is a session event. If a red-folder release lands on that open, the funded window and the whip candle are the same moment. New funded size inside the window is the restricted act.
The $100,000 fee is $549. Anti-hyperactivity here is a number, 200 and 2,000, not a vague warning. A human scalper who clicks inside that count is fine. A trail that is not inside it is not. The 60 to 100 point stop is the structure either way.
