What the EA is allowed to touch
A tool that attaches a stop, moves a winner to breakeven, or scales out a partial is a risk manager. That class is allowed. A public pass-bot, the kind sold as a challenge finisher, is not. HFT is not. If more than half of the profit comes from tick scalps shorter than two minutes, the account can be disqualified even when the 4% daily loss never printed. That profit-share test is the Goat-specific automation rule. It is not a style preference.
Platforms are MT5, Match-Trader, TradeLocker, and cTrader. An EA approved by your reading of one platform is still your EA on the others, and the 2,000 request cap counts on the server you connected. Open a Venasri account and point it at the Goat login so the flatten and the request pace are measured on the same equity the firm reads.
Two thousand requests is a budget, not a target
Goat publishes a 2,000 server request daily limit. A trail that modifies the stop on every tick can spend that budget on one gold position during London and New York. When the cap is hit, further management fails open or the account is flagged, and neither outcome respects the $4,000 you thought you had left. Step the stop in price, at structure, not on a timer of seconds.
Equity Guard should still flatten at $3,250 on a $100K day, which is 3.25% and $750 before the official $4,000. An EA that keeps trading after that flatten is fighting the only cash rule both the 1-Step and the 2-Step share. Arm the flatten on Equity Guard outside the EA, so a hung expert cannot be the only line of defense.
Short scalps and the 40% payout day
The short-scalp ban is about the share of profit, not about a single fast winner. If half the cycle was made in trades that lasted under two minutes, the rest of a careful swing book does not wash it out. Instant and Triple Payday also cap a single day at 35% to 40% of cycle profit. An EA that dumps $3,400 into one news burst on an $8,000 cycle is a 42.5% day and a payout delay, even if every scalp was longer than two minutes.
The 1-Step maximum trails 6% at end of day, $6,000 on $100K. An EA sized for a static $8,000 floor will overstay that trail after a green close. The flagship 2-Step static floor is $8,000, or $10,000 if you bought the wider static path. Code the product into the EA inputs. Do not ship one lot setting to every Goat login you own.
News, weekends, and a bot that can pause
Funded accounts have a 2-minute window around high-impact news, and profit booked inside that window can be excluded unless the news add-on is on. A stop that slips through CPI, NFP, or FOMC still counts against the $4,000. Bot Control should hard-pause new entries across that window and should refuse to let an EA satisfy the 2,000 request cap by editing orders through the print.
Weekend holding is allowed with standard crypto and CFD margin limits. An unattended EA that keeps a full gold lot through Sunday is using the permission without using the margin warning. Three minimum trading days also means a bot that passes in one session still has to show two more days. Pay-Later does not waive the request cap or the short-scalp profit test.
