Count the stops before you pick the percent
0.35% of $100,000 is $350. 0.50% is $500. 0.65% is $650. The daily loss is 4%, $4,000, on both steps. Divide $4,000 by the ticket. At $350 you need eleven full losses to spend the day, because 11 times $350 is $3,850. At $650, six losses are $3,900 and the seventh is a breach at $4,550. A slogan that says any point in the band survives seven stops is only true near the low end. At the high end, seven stops are already through the day.
The flagship static maximum is 8%, $8,000, which is two of those daily losses. The 1-Step trails 6% at end of day, $6,000 at the start, so a high-band week can threaten the trail before it threatens a static 8% floor. Create a Venasri account and store one number, not a range you renegotiate after a loss.
Where $500 gold sits inside the band
At $10 per pip on 0.10 lots, a 50-pip stop is $500. That ticket is inside $350 to $650. A 70-pip stop at 0.10 lots is $700, which is above 0.65% and no longer the plan. The published ceiling of 0.80 to 1.45 lots is a different conversation: 0.80 lots is $80 per pip, and 50 pips is $4,000, the entire day, in one stop. Use 0.10 lots when the stop is 50 pips. Shrink the lot when the stop is 70.
Equity Guard belongs at $3,250, 3.25%, so the account flattens $750 before $4,000 whether you chose $350 or $650. Set it on Equity Guard. If you chose $650, that buffer is barely one extra ticket. If you chose $350, the buffer covers two. The guard does not repair a lot that was already $4,000.
A winner can break the payout before the stop breaks the day
Instant and Triple Payday cap one day near 35% to 40% of cycle profit. A $650 risk that pays 5R is a $3,250 day. On an $8,000 cycle that is about 41%. The trade was inside the loss band and outside the consistency band. On-demand payouts also want three separate days of at least 0.5%, $500. One oversized winner does not replace those three days, and a single trade above 40% of cycle profit can delay the request.
The 2,000 request cap and the short-scalp profit test are lot rules in disguise. Cutting size by machine-gunning tiny scratches, until half the profit is under two minutes, fails a different Goat rule. Personal risk EAs are allowed. A grid that adds lots after a loss is not a 0.35% plan. It is a larger plan wearing a small first ticket.
Pick $500 and leave it there
For most Goat $100K logins, $500 is the middle of the published band and the size that makes sixteen 1R winners equal the $8,000 Phase 1 target. Bot Control can cap the gold lot at 0.10 for a 50-pip stop and can pause the funded 2-minute news window so a slipped stop is not an accidental $2,000. Phase 2 is $5,000. It does not require a new percent.
If the dashboard is a 1-Step, keep the same $500 ticket and remember the trail. Closing a $3,000 day steps the 6% end-of-day floor up. The next session's $500 losses are then measured against a higher trail and the same $4,000 daily line. The lot did not change. The room did. Re-read the floor after every green close before you assume eleven stops are still available.
