Allowed is not unmetered
Weekend and overnight holds are permitted. The limit that travels with them is the ordinary daily loss, 4% on both the 1-Step and the 2-Step, plus the product maximum. On $100K the daily figure is $4,000. A gap of that size on Sunday is a finished day even if you never clicked on Monday. Wednesday triple-swap is smaller and easier to ignore, and it still posts to equity inside the same 4% envelope. A swing that "only" pays swap until it does not is still a risk position.
Standard crypto and CFD margin limits are part of the hold. If the symbol's margin rises into the weekend, a full lot that fit on Thursday may not fit on Friday without pulling equity toward the daily line. Open a Venasri account and list the symbols you intend to hold, with the dollar stop written before Friday, not after the gap.
The snapshot happens before the gap
Daily loss resets at 00:00 server time, UTC+2 or UTC+3, from the higher of day-start balance or floating equity. Carry +$2,000 of unrealized gold into that clock and the next base is $102,000 on a $100K start. Four percent of $102,000 is $4,080, so the floor sits near $97,920. A Sunday giveback of the $2,000 has used half of the new day before you see a candle you like. Booking $1,000 before the snapshot leaves a smaller float and a cleaner base.
On the 1-Step the 6% maximum trails at end of day. A Friday close that banked a large winner raises that trail before the weekend even begins. You then hold a gap risk against a tighter floor. The 2-Step static 8% floor, $92,000 on the flagship, does not step up, but the daily rebase still does. Equity Guard should know which login is which. Set the daily flatten at $3,250 on Equity Guard for a $100K day that has not been inflated by float.
Swap, news, and the Monday print
Triple-swap on Wednesday is a direct debit. On a $100K swing it will not usually be $4,000, and it can be the piece that takes a day already down $3,100 through the line. Include it in the open risk, not as a footnote. Monday high-impact news still uses the funded 2-minute window. Profit inside that window can be excluded without the add-on, while a gap-and-news stop counts in full. Holding from Friday so you can "be in" for CPI combines both bills.
Instant tiers add the 35% to 40% single-day cap. A Sunday-to-Monday swing that makes $3,500 can be the day that delays the on-demand payout, which itself needs three separate 0.5% days of $500. One weekend home run is a poor substitute for those three days. The minimum trading-day count is 3. A single weekend hold is one day if it crosses one session, not three.
Cut the lot or cut the hold
If the weekday plan is 0.10 gold lots and a 50-pip stop, about $500 at $10 per pip on 0.10 lots, the weekend version should be smaller. A 100-pip gap at 0.10 lots is $1,000. At 0.40 lots it is $4,000, the whole day. Bot Control can partial on Friday and refuse a second add after 00:00 so the higher base is not also a larger lot.
The $398 account is large enough to swing and small enough, at $100K of rules, to die on one unreduced hold. Decide on Thursday: flat, or half size with a stop that is actually in the market. Crypto that trades through Saturday still marks the 00:00 daily line. There is no weekend exemption from the $4,000 just because the stock indices are closed.
