Attach the stop with the fill, on the platform you actually have
Manual Trade Guard is the pattern of a stop, a later breakeven, and partial exits at prices you chose before the click. MyFundedFutures does not hand you an MT5 server. It hands you Tradovate, NinjaTrader, TradingView, or Quantower. The protection still has to land on that working order. A bridged workflow is useful only if it speaks to the platform on the invoice. A preset aimed at a currency lot will misread a futures point.
CME messaging limits still apply. One stop and a few partials are quiet. A trail that rewrites every tick is the bot rule failing in slow motion. Bot controls should update on your levels, not on every print, and should know that NQ is $20 per point while MNQ is $2.
Bank the trade before the session snapshot
The trail is judged at the end of the day, around 4:10 PM ET or 5:00 PM ET. An open $1,800 winner that you meant to partial can be a smaller winner, or a loser, by that mark. Four planned partials turn one NQ idea into booked cash while the remainder moves toward breakeven. Waiting for a single final target is how a good morning becomes the print that lifts or hurts the trail.
Friday is stricter. The book is flat before the CME close, partials or not. Create a Venasri login and point it at the futures platform, then put a Friday flat on the same checklist as the stop.
The attached distance has to be a dollar figure
A 20-point NQ stop is $400 on one contract and $80 on one micro. A 10-point ES stop is $500 on one contract and $50 on one MES. If the guard stores a 50-pip gold template and applies it to NQ, the distance is nonsense. Compute points times point value, and refuse the order when the product is above about $400 on a $3,000 trail. Expert can be passed in one day. That permission does not raise the dollar cap.
Starter adds a 40% best-day test. Partials help because they stop one session from needing a heroic final exit. They do not replace the decision to stop when the day already owns too much of a $6,000 target. Forty percent of that target is $2,400.
The ticket stop is not the account flatten
Equity Guard should flatten the $100,000 book near $2,250 when the trail itself is in danger. A stop on one contract does not see the second contract you added, or the ES ticket that is the same equity bet. The account flatten does. Arm it before the 9:30 AM ET open, which is when naked size does the most damage.
Evaluation news is allowed and funded Starter or sim-funded tiers restrict Tier-1 releases. The guard should not invent a fresh entry into a restricted print. It should manage a position that already has a stop, or it should have you flat. High-frequency order games remain outside the CME limits no matter how protective the label sounds.
