The log shows the mood without naming it
Three or more new trades in the minutes after a loss are the first leak. A stop dragged further away is the second. Editing it again before a minute has passed is the third, and on this firm those edits also feed CME message limits. Adding size to a red NQ is the fourth. More than twice the planned contracts is the fifth. Any one can be a mistake. Three of them are the $3,000 trail.
At $400 planned risk, twice the size is $800. Two losses there are $1,600 before the first loser is counted. Bot controls should refuse the extra contracts and the rapid cluster. The platform buying power will not refuse them for you.
The 9:30 AM ET candle is the usual scene
The Expert one-day attempt dies when the first stop hurts and the next order uses the maximum contracts to get the $6,000 target back before lunch. One NQ through 40 points is $800. Two NQ through the same distance are $1,600. Add ES at $50 per point and the trail is a single correlated push. Micros were available at $2 and $5 per point. Tilt does not choose micros.
Starter tilt has a second ending. A spiked winner after the loss can clear 40% of cycle profit, $2,400 of a $6,000 target, and stall the five-day payout. Sign up on Venasri so the refusal is on the order ticket.
Rapid stop edits fail twice
Widening a stop to avoid being wrong spends more of the trail if it fills, and the flurry of modifications can breach CME messaging limits even if price comes back. Tradovate, NinjaTrader, TradingView, and Quantower all sit on that exchange rule. A single planned stop is a trading decision. Ten edits in a minute are a conduct problem wearing a chart.
Averaging a second GC contract because the first is red is the same leak in metal. Full gold is $100 per $1. You did not average a small idea. You doubled a large one. Micro gold is $10 per $1 if the second attempt deserves to exist at all.
After the flatten, the session is over
Equity Guard should flatten a $100,000 book near $2,250, before the doubled contracts spend the last $750. When it fires, new orders stay off. Re-arming because the next candle continued is the first leak again. On a $2,000 trail the flatten has to be sooner. The end-of-day mark will still see whatever you refused to close.
Friday remains a flat deadline. Tilt that holds a mashed position into the CME close exports a weekend gap into a trail that was already hurt. Zero contracts is the whole recovery plan. The target is still $6,000 in a later session that starts at $400.
