The challenge floor is $90,000 and the funded floor moves
Phase 1 and Phase 2 use a static 10% maximum from the initial balance. On $100,000 the account ends at $90,000, whether last week was up $8,000 or flat. Phase 1 asks for 8%, or $8,000. Phase 2 asks for 5%, or $5,000. Daily loss in that same challenge is 5% of the initial balance, a fixed $5,000, and it does not grow because you had a green morning.
The Signal Provider account replaces the static 10% with an end-of-day trailing 10%. A close at $115,000 puts 10% of that close, $11,500, under the high, and the floor sits at $103,500. You can still be $3,500 above the original start and be finished. The challenge would have allowed a fall to $90,000. The $13,500 of room that disappeared is the breach people argue about after a profitable month.
Server midnight prints at 17:00 New York
The daily allowance resets at 17:00 New York, the same instant the MT5 server shows 00:00. Flattening at 00:00 UTC leaves the position inside the live allowance for hours. A loser that crosses 17:00 spends the next allowance immediately. London midnight is a different event and it does not roll this account.
Because the funded trail updates from the end-of-day balance, a spike into that 17:00 snapshot matters more than an intraday high you already gave back. If you do not want tomorrow's floor to follow today's peak, book the profit before 17:00 New York. Leaving the runner is a decision to raise the trail. Create a Venasri login and label the profile challenge or Signal Provider so both clocks are not stored as one rule.
Weekend gaps and the two-minute news band still cost cash
Overnight and weekend holding are allowed. A Sunday gap is still a debit in the session that contains the open. On 1.00 lot of gold, using $10 per 0.10 move, a 40-pip gap is about $400. That is a small slice of a fresh $5,000 day and a fatal slice if you are already $4,700 down. Midweek financing that triples the ordinary swap lands in the same allowance.
Market and pending orders cannot be opened or closed in the two minutes before and after high-impact news. The rule is about the order. A stop that fills late still counts in full against the fixed 5%. Bot controls should block new orders in that band and should avoid a last-second close that is itself a prohibited click.
The guard needs the daily line and the trail
Equity Guard should flatten the challenge near $4,250 of daily loss on $100,000, which is 4.25% and leaves $750 before the fixed $5,000. After funding, add the trailing floor as a second number. If the last end-of-day balance was $115,000, the level that matters is $103,500. A guard that only remembers $90,000 will stay quiet while the trail is crossed.
Expert Advisors are allowed on MT5 when they express a real strategy rather than tick-arbitrage. An advisor that still thinks the disaster line is the challenge floor will keep trading after the Signal Provider trail has already ended the account. Update the floor on the day the promotion posts, and again after every end-of-day balance that makes a new high.
