The challenge floor stays at $90,000 while you are ahead
Classic is a two-step path with an 8% first target and a 5% second target. On $100,000 that is $8,000 and then $5,000. The maximum during the challenge is a static 10%, so equity at $90,000 ends it whether you are flat or $8,000 in profit. From $108,000 the static floor is still $18,000 away. You cannot use that distance in one session, because the daily allowance is a fixed $5,000 of the starting balance, not 5% of the new equity.
A green week therefore does not buy a bigger tomorrow. Traders who treat open profit as extra daily room are using a rule this challenge does not have. Three minimum trading days still apply. Open a Venasri account and write the floor as $90,000 and the day as $5,000, both measured from the start, until the firm actually moves you to the funded book.
The Signal Provider account trails the 10% you just got used to
Once the account is a funded Signal Provider, the 10% maximum trails. A challenge that closed near $108,000 was still judged against $90,000. A 10% trail under a $108,000 high sits near $97,200. The room from that high down to the floor shrinks from $18,000 to about $10,800. The profit you kept is partly what lifted the floor. Passing did not add comfort. It changed the contract.
The funded daily allowance is described as trailing at the end of the day, which is a second change from the fixed challenge day. Do not keep the $5,000 figure as a forever constant after the promotion, and do not keep the $90,000 floor either. Equity Guard on the challenge should flatten near $4,250 on $100,000. Rebuild it when the trail and the funded day are the rules you are actually under.
A $500,000 challenge is not five copies of a $5,000 habit
The firm offers challenge sizes up to $500,000. Ten percent of that is $50,000 and the fixed daily allowance is $25,000. A trader who still thinks in a $5,000 day is using one fifth of the real line, or, much worse, sizing a $500,000 lot plan on a $100,000 login. The percentage is the rule. The dollars have to be recomputed at the balance you paid for.
The clock is 17:00 New York, which is also 00:00 on the MT5 server. It is not a London midnight and it is not the cash equity close. A float held through 17:00 is marked in the new bucket. Because the challenge day is a fixed slice of the start, the dangerous mistake is believing profit expanded it. On the funded trail, the dangerous mistake is believing the floor stayed down at the original 10%.
Flatten inside the fixed day before you ever meet the floor
Most challenge failures at this firm will be the $5,000 day, not the $90,000 floor, because the day is shorter and it does not grow. Bot controls should stop the session after a planned number of losses well inside $4,250, and they should refuse a lot that assumes tomorrow's allowance got bigger because today was green. Phase 2 only needs $5,000 of profit, which is exactly one full daily budget. That symmetry is how people try to finish the phase with one oversized idea.
Personal advisors are allowed on MT5 when they behave like a real signal rather than a tick-arbitrage loop. Weekend holding is permitted, so a Friday float can still be on at the 17:00 reset. News fills count against the same fixed day. The static floor is the backstop. The daily flatten is the tool you will actually use. Set it before the promotion changes the backstop under you.
